This 1950s vintage home provided a very convenient and cost-effective base for our family while in town for a funeral. The location is excellent—centrally located near Tysons Corner, which made navigating the area very easy. The house itself is quaint and cozy with some nice modern enhancements in the kitchen. The host was very helpful and responsive whenever we had issues, which we truly appreciated during a difficult time. A solid choice if you prioritize location and value.
Was moving my daughter to DC and needed a place for my wife and I to stay during the process. Home was fantastic and owner extremely responsive (typically within minutes). Property is located in nice safe neighborhood. We were able to park the U-Haul truck in the driveway with no problems. Owner provided a snow shovel and bucket of salt, which was great since we got caught in a winter storm and needed them. Owner reached out and offered to extend our stay if our flight back got canceled, which was very thoughtful! My wife and I were very pleased with this property and will stay here again when returning to the DC area. A big thanks to the owner for a wonderful experience!
My family of four stayed at the cottage over New Years Eve. The location is nice, and convenient to stores and restaurants. Also, the host was very prompt about communicating and quickly provided some missing items for the kitchen and rectified an issue we had with the hot water. However, this house is not ideal for a stay during the cold seasons. The house is drafty with many old windows that do not retain heat. Even with the furnace running almost nonstop, we were wearing sweaters the whole stay. Throw blankets in the living room or a working fireplace would certainly help. The first floor bathroom was drafty and cold with a leaky window by the shower. So we all used the tiny closet shower upstairs. The kitchen was adequate, but not stocked with basic spices or oil. It seemed like only the bare essentials were provided, but really no thoughtful touches that would have made the stay more enjoyable.Overall, it was not a bad stay. But I would probably not return.
This location was as advertised. The home was perfect for me and what I needed to do while in the DC area. It was located in a great location with plenty of things to do in the local area. And of course, I can not express how gracious the host was!
My family of 5 and our fur babies stayed in this awesome renovated cottage central to all things DC and Northern Virginia related. Nice neighborhood, close to good restaurants and a grocery store. Appreciated the coffee and snacks. We had plenty of room to stretch out. The cottage was clean and cozy with a lot of character. We even got to wake up to snow one morning. Will stay here again when visiting the area.
This cottage was perfect for our gathering of four friendsjust wanting some time together. It was clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well used by us and we enjoyed the living room space which was comfortable and inviting. The property is close to grocery stores and restaurants. The property owner was responsive as well.
This home was perfect for our family of 5 adults. We came for a week of sightseeing and really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very helpful and quick to respond.
Wolftrap home was perfect for what we needed. The house was clean, comfortable and in a beautiful setting. A little far for restaurants and grocery shops, but an inexpensive uber ride away. Metro to DC was easy and quick.
We flew into Reagan international airport, but Dulles isn't far either. If you get in early in the day check metro from the airport, it's easy.
My mother, sister and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is older but the inside is completely updated and very nice. The couches were comfortable and there was plenty of room. The property was very clean and the owner always responded in a very timely manner. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Awesome little cottage in Vienna with quick access to restaurants and Metro park&ride. Showers up and down give kids and adults their own areas. Updated kitchen makes breakfast a snap. Great location just off main thoroughfare makes getting to and from easy. We will definitely stay here again when we travel to the DC area.
