Loved the place, very comfortable with two living rooms and a hot tub. Easy to get to and from the mountain. Access to the Pickle Barrel shuttle for nightlife. Overall great stay.
This is a great house that has everything you need! It is clean, has a beautiful fireplace, lots of comfortable beds, a great hot tub and gorgeous views. It is in a perfect location just minutes from Killington mountain and Pico. We loved our stay here!
Great stay! Very clean and plenty of room for the 8 of us. Very well stocked as well! We very much enjoyed the hot tub and the location as the house was less than 10 mins from the mountain and within the distance to pickle barrel where the shuttle would pick us up and drop us off at the house. We would definitely come back!
The place was great and the host super helpful. It was a great location and the place had everything you need for a skii trip. I received a nice welcome letter providing tips on dining, rentals etc. I would definitely rent this house again! Thanks Yvonne
I was there with my family and my cousin’s family and we were all so comfortable. We cooked mostly breakfast and dinners and I loved that they had great pans! (My own quirk) the space was comfortable to everyone and left us refreshed to enjoy the slopes. Thanks again for a great stay!
Perfect home for 2 families skiing at Killington. 2 bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom in between. Master bedroom/bathroom on main floor. Downstairs great for our young adult kids--with door leading right out to the hot tub. Very easy drive to the slopes. Yvonne was a gracious host.
The house is set up perfectly for families, especially with teens. Our four teenagers had their own space downstairs where they also slept and had access to the hot tub from downstairs. Everyone loved the hot tub! The adults got to enjoy the fireplace upstairs. The view is beautiful! Besides the view, the location is great as well. It is nice quiet spot and a very short drive to the resort. That is exactly what we were looking for.
I rented this property for a girls weekend skiing and it was the perfect fit! Easy to get to Killington Ski Resort, within the 6 mile radius for the free Picklebarrel Shuttle, and alot of space with an upstairs and downstairs living space to play games. It was worth the price to stay right in the Killington proper area. We especially loved making a fire at night and using the hot-tub. I appreciated that the host was easy to contact and responded quickly via text when I had questions. The only bummer about this was that the ice machine did not work on the fridge. Would stay again and recommend to all other groups!

Thanks so much for your kind words Caroline! I know doing a review after a vacay when it’s back to reality can be a pain, but we really appreciate it!

Just a few things: The front door lock is weird so we had to try a few times before we could get in. Same thing when trying to lock it. The oven door would not close properly (broken) and needs to be fixed. Also the ("0") does not work on the oven. The silverware drawer is broken so you have to be careful pulling it out. Shower nozzle in first floor bathroom points at back wall. Almost impossible to use it unless over 6ft tall. Fireplace screen falls off. There was no tp in any of the bathrooms when we arrived. Trash bag in container was useless - like tissue. We brought our own so wasn't a big deal. Couldn't turn the bright light on the porch off. It was on all night. Odd that for a world cup race weekend, there was not toilet paper or paper towel or even soap to start off with. We had brough all our own stuff but it's just odd. Also internet did not work intially because wrong password information was provided.

Things to work on: The outside trash can box is flipped n broken . Various old rotting construction wood near driveway n back deck needs to be taken out or burned. Downstairs tv has no internet cable Xbox or roku and cant get to connect. No Wifi . Kitchen draws stiff. But nice place and amazing view.

We love Vermont! It is truly a 4 season destination the skiing has always been amazing and the main reason we came to Killington, but with all the summer activities now we are starting to love the summer and Fall just as much as the winter. We put a lot of work into this house to make it nice for ourselves as well as our guests. We hope that when renting our house that you respect and appreciate the effort it took to make it nice.
Why they chose this property
I spent many years renting different condos and houses in Vermont. This house is great because it offers so many different areas to relax and entertain. I love having my family and friends up to ski in the winter or to explore in the summer. Each summer we explore a different swimming hole that the kids love! This property has the places for the kids to play and explore outside whether its sledding, biking or just exploring the woods.
What makes this property unique
The views from the house are amazing, and you can really relax in front of the fire with a nice glass of wine or hot cocoa. You can soak in the beauty of the Vermont landscape while you are relaxing on the couch or entertaining in the downstairs den. It allows your family & friends to gather in the different entertainment areas of the house and have that feeling of togetherness as a group but privacy when you need it. I think that is unique to renting a home as opposed to a hotel where you lose some of that in a common lobby or lounge area of a hotel. That's why this house is perfect for family reunions and the like. We also own the two adjacent homes which are four (4) and ten (10) bedrooms, so if you have a very large group please inquire about renting all three homes.
