Charming Holiday Rental in the Heart of Wine Country

Beautifully restored 2-bedroom, 2-bath + loft ancient French farmhouse and wine chai with shared pool in the Lot-et-Garonne region of southwest France. Situated on a 20-hectare farm and surrounded by beautiful views of vineyards, rolling prairies and fields of sunflowers.

Step out your front door to your private terrace and the nearby salt-water pool. Continue walking and you will find the beginning of a lovely country road that leads to miles of picturesque walking and riding trails which even include a small portion of the Vézalay route to Santiago de Compostela. Quiet, calm and privacy await you at Petit Clos.

Our region is home to many of the most beautiful french villages that are listed under the official designation "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France," along with numerous historic bastide towns such as Eymet and Duras just 15 minutes away.

Chateaux dot the countryside as well as line the Dordogne River where you can rent canoes and feel like you have truly gone back in time in this beautiful and unspoiled region.

The famous prehistoric caves of Lascaux are also in close proximity. There is a world class golf course nearby - Chateau des Vigiers - and for those who prefer to tour the region by hot air balloon, Domaine de Durand offers flights and is within walking distance of Petit Clos.

Brocantes and special "vide greniers" (flea markets) are held often so you can search for little french treasures to take home.

If fine french food is what you are after, you have struck it rich here in the Aquitaine region known for its gastronomic specialties. Dine out at one of the many fine restaurants in the area and shop for your delicacies at one of the weekly markets.

When you get your second wind in the evening, check out one of the many festive summertime night markets and fetes.

Rust en schoonheid

Samen met onze kinderen van 7 en 10 hebben we een fantastische week gehad. Cindy & Hank hebben ons enorm gastvrij ontvangen in hun mooie verblijf. Er stond een heerlijk welkomspakketje klaar. De prachtige boerderij was schoon en alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Af en toe zagen we Cindy even en maakten we samen een gezellig praatje. Wat een lieve, warme dame! De omgeving was heerlijk rustig, precies wat we nodig hadden. Het zwembad was het kersje op de taart. Wij raden andere dit verblijf zeker aan!

Superbe sejour

Tout est parfait dans cette location la maison en elle même d'abord typique , décorée avec beaucoup de gout , les salles de bains sont magnifiques et la piscine est la cerise sur le gâteau. Quant à l'l'environnement naturel et touristique il est parfait. Cindy et Hank sont très sympathiques et accueillants je recommande vivement cette location ou toute la famille a hate de retourner.

Très belle location au calme, superbe panorama.

très belle location restaurée et décorée avec gout. la literie est excellente, très belles salles de bain. la piscine a été très appréciée de toute la famille avec les fortes chaleurs que nous avons eu. le panorama fait de collines, de vignes et de champs de tournesol est superbe. très bien située pour rayonner dans le pays des bastides entre Dordogne, Gironde et Lot et Garonne. manque juste un petit coin d'ombre dans le jardin. Nous reviendrons.

Blissful!

Great accommodation with everything you need and more. The gite was beautifully restored and decorated plus very spacious. Cindy & Hank were fantastic hosts - extremely helpful but never invasive.
