Excellent Retreat
We spent a long weekend in the fall at this house. The accommodations are rustic, comfortable, and interesting. We ate what we caught and found every needed implement in easy reach. Evening and morning on the porch is a rare indulgence in peace and tranquillity. JT was responsive and accommodating. I’m hopeful to return again to Sapelo.

We needed a place to stay for a family reunion on Sapelo.
The house was well located in the Hog Hammock community and this made access to locations and food caterer easy. It was large enough for us to handle overflow from our family reunion in comfort. Jonathan is very responsive to questions and provided links to locals persons who provided us with transportation options ( we chose a golf cart versus a car) and catering when when chose not to deal with cooking. The house is built to look rustic but provides comfort and quiet. Could not have asked for more in terms of location and support. Would highly recommend this property. McK

Exactly as described & very comfortable
This unique cabin has been thoughtfully built and appointed so that it was comfortable and fun for my children and my parents. My husband and I would have made the trip for the record collection alone. The host was very helpful in connecting us with local guides, meals, transportation, and the best places for my family to explore.

Absolutely Amazing Experience
A slice of heaven on Sapelo Island with the most amenities! This rare gem has WiFi and a landline which was great for checking in but this island home is so amazing I suggest putting your phone away and enjoying the pristine beaches and riding the trails. This beautiful Sapelo home is filled with family history and Sapelo history. JT knows the island well and was great at sharing his knowledge and making our trip an ease. I can’t wait to go back! Love love love!!
