The Eagle's Nest Sapelo Island was in a great location. The house was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host was imformative before check-in.
Great home, great host, great location!
We've stayed at several other lovely homes on Sapelo, but Eagle's Nest is far and away our favorite! Highly recommended!
Stayed 7 nights and enjoyed everyone. Clean and roomy. Highly recommend. Everyone is very kind and friendly. We will be scheduling again next year. If you're looking for transportation around the island make sure you contact Barbara and Chris Bailey, they are wonderful people and great to deal with.
This was the perfect place for us to spend our Christmas vacation. It is a clean home, well equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining room and great outside porch. The beds were very comfortable. And it is very quiet. This is an easy walk to a corner store (closed for Christmas holidays) and bar (Yacht Club) with restaurant. One day we rented a golf cart and visited the Post Office, Lighthouse, R J Reynolds Mansion and Nanny Goat beach.Communication with host is perfect...Steve was quick to respond to all questions. We highly recommend Barbara Bailey for catering. The slow country boil was our favorite followed by ribs and chicken.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was set up nicely and allowed us to relax. The area was very quiet and we enjoyed our stay. Owner was responsive to our questions and provided great information,
The Eagles Nest is a beautiful vacation home on Sapelo Island. The six of us had a wonderful time exploring and enjoying nature on the Island. It was very peaceful and relaxing.
This home was comfortable, clean, and just the home base that we needed. I slept like a baby and had a space to get clean after our daily adventures. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to have the opportunity to come and stay again sometime.
Went for a few days of fishing, eating, playing on the beach and sleeping late. House had everything we needed, was clean as could be and was just the right setup for what we wanted. Stephan was an excellent host, easy to communicate with, quick response time and had all the answers we needed any time we had a question. Perfect place, perfect host and had a perfect stay.
