BUY TRAVEL INSURANCE. Napa hotel tax included in the price. Welcome to Chez Sous Le Bois which translates as "House Beneath The Woods", hence Underwood, my surname. I have designed and constructed a new and spa-like space for my special guests. I love to welcome my guests with a glass of premium wine such as Duckhorn, Goldeneye, Goosecross, Bouchaine or Foley Johnson.

It is on the ground floor with the residence is above. My guests are invited to park in the tandem driveway next to the apartment. It features a spacious room with an adjustable king-size bed, 55" LG smart TV with sound bar (lots of cable networks Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Paramount+, Apple +, Max.+. Serene exclusive Patio with Umbrella table. Regular and decaf coffees, assorted teas, and chocolates are offered to my guests. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are dispensed in the shower and extra amenities are stocked in the bathroom. A newly installed EV Charger for my guests to use for their electric cars.

The location is an easy and pleasant walk to downtown restaurants (less than a mile), wine tasting bars and nightclubs. There is a convenient 7/11 Mart at Lincoln and Main. Walkable to Napa nightlife and restaurants. Go to Visit Napa Valley (.com) for an extensive list.

This property is absolutely charming. It is in a quiet neighborhood and walkable to much of downtown. The Host was great, greeted us on arrival and had great suggestions of places to eat and visit. Highly recommend.

The location of this rental is perfect as a home base for the many surrounding wineries, but also located in walking distance to downtown Napa which we really enjoyed. Lesley (and Zsa Zsa) were great hosts and helped answer any questions we had. Overall, we really enjoyed our time at this rental and it helped make our trip to Napa unforgettable!

I've retired and now inn keeping and painting occupies my days. I am working on my future studio, converting the garage into and ADU. There is so much music here in the valley from pop to rock, jazz, classical etc.

Why they chose this property

I purchased my home September of 2016 and moved in November 1 of the same year. I began construction (rather deconstruction) in March of 2017. The downstairs was crudely finished as a master bedroom that required total renovation down to the studs and floor. Everything is new and i tried to think of every amenity that my guests would like.
This is a quiet neighborhood close to the nightlife of Napa. It is about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile pleasant walk to the first delicious restaurants: Pizza Azzurro, Gran Electrica*, Pasta Prego, on Main Street where the locals eat! If you don't feel like walking, the Red Rock Cafe (great barbecue) another local favorite, is just across the street.
