This serene bay front house has the most stunning beach views and provides some of the best fishing in all of Sargent. Welcome to Double Trouble. This elegant is the perfect getaway located right on the Intracoastal Waterway with a new pool, putt putt course, 2 private fishing piers and so much more!! The fun is endless and the memories last a lifetime!

One of the highlights of this rental is the TWO private fishing piers equipped with the BRIGHTEST fishing lights in town providing excellent fishing all night long for trout, red fish, flounder and many other species of fish! On the dock is a brand new custom built covered fish-cleaning station with electricity, water, and sink.
The home offers a brand new swimming pool with tanning ledge, slide, and huge palapa to hang out under! Brand new 5 hole putt putt course is tons of enjoyment
Sargent is known for its exceptional crabbing and this area is loaded!! We have multiple crab traps at the property for you to use and enjoy! You cant beat a crab boil at the beach!!

The evenings are especially enjoyable watching the sunset and the dolphins swim by in the intracoastal while you relax on the large porch and patio furniture.

There is two charcoal grills available for outdoor cooking.

This amazing home offers three bedrooms and two full baths! One bedroom has 2 twin-sized bunk beds offeeing 4 mattresses. The second bedroom has a full-sized bunk bed with a twin-sized trundle bed offering 3 mattresses. The third bedroom downstairs is called the Captains Quarters and includes 2 more twin bunk beds and a large sleeper sofa that turns into a queen size bed! That is a total of 10 beds! All beds have sheets, pillows with pillow cases, and quilts. This home sleeps 10-12 guests. DirecTV is provided.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need; including refrigerator, stove, oven, dish washer, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, coffee machine, blender, glasses, and much more.

in the down stairs storage room we have a full washer, dryer, and separate fridge for you to use and enjoy. There is also beach toys, and boogie boards you may enjoy at the house or beach during your stay at Double Trouble.

Come enjoy an amazing relaxing weekend in the small quiet town of Sargent! The food is tasty, the beaches are beautiful, and the fishing is amazing!

Of all the places we have stayed in Sargent, this was by far mine and my families favorite. From the amazing host to the pier, the stay was more than we could have asked for and we already booked our next trip.

This is our favorite place to stay in Sargent and has some of the best fishing right on the intercoastal,The house was very clean and comfortable.We caught trout, flounder, redfish, black drum and Even caught a couple of mangrove snapper..The pool was amazing as always. I recommend this place percent. Travis the owner is on top of things and started in contact in case we needed anything. We will definitely be back.

This was our 4th time staying at this vacation rental, and it never disappoints! The location is perfect, whether you’re spending the day fishing in the Intracoastal or simply soaking up the sun by the pool. As soon as we left, we were already planning our trip back next year. We and our 4yo loved the pool! We had good luck during the day with the crab traps and at night the lights on the pier had the sand trout slapping the water left and right. Our second night eating dinner on the deck while watching the dolphins was the highlight for me! We also visited the beach with just a short drive. Host was very helpful and quickly responded whenever we had questions. The house was very thoughtfully appointed. We didn't want for anything while we were there.

Beautiful home right on the ICW! The pool with slide was absolutely amazing and fun for all ages! (I'm the grandma (gigi) that had to try the slide!) We did not come for the fishing so I can only say the little bit of fishing we tried was impressive! We caught some beautiful speckled trout! The dolphins swam by every day we were there! Side note, the grands would wave at the barges and most of the captains would honk and even step out and wave! I actually wanted to give a bad review so I could keep this treasure to myself haha! Also, the host is very easy to communicate with!

This was such a cute spot for our family of 6 (4 boys). Check in was super easy and the property was better than described. Our boys had a wonderful time in the pool and fishing!!! Two of my boys got their first catch! There are tons of games around the property too. We enjoyed board games and all the swimming toys. The pool slide was a huge hit with the kids and my husband and I enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings. We saw a dolphin right from the porch too! The only downside is the construction currently going on across the bay. It was noisy and dusty during the day. Even with the construction though, this was the perfect spot to relax with the kidd for a few days. We are definitely coming back for more fishing and hopefully taking advantage of the kayaks too!

Annual Family vacation

We were extremely impressed, from the view, the fishing, the pool all the way to the trash bins as well as all the other amenities this place had to offer!!We have stayed in Matagorda the last 20 years and it looks like we have found our new location.
