About the host
Hosted by Jill Harrison

I’m Jill Harrison, and my husband Bill and I are lifelong Sugarloafers who love sharing our passion for the mountain. We actually met on the mountain and went on to raise three children who spent weekends, vacations, and summers here—swimming in the river, exploring the trails, and gathering with friends and extended family in every season.
I spent my childhood mostly on the mountain with my older brothers and sisters, mother and father. My dad was Stub Taylor, one of the original Bigelow Boys who helped build Sugarloaf alongside Amos Winter. He helped cut many of the original trails and served as head of the Sugarloaf Ski Patrol for over 40 years. That legacy lives on in our family. Bill still volunteers with Sugarloaf Ski Patrol, giving back to the place he loves most.
Even now, our grown children return to the lodge with their own families. For them, coming back to Sugarloaf is like coming home to family—familiar trails, cherished memories, and a deep-rooted connection to this special mountain. They could ski anywhere in the world—but Sugarloaf rings true to their ski souls.
We designed Sugarloaf West Mountain Summit Lodge as a true year-round escape for families and groups. Whether you're visiting for adventure or relaxation, we’re committed to making your stay smooth, comfortable, and full of mountain magic.
