About this property

18th CENTURY BAROQUE RESIDENCE

A beautiful 3 bedroom apartment with 3 en-suite bathrooms is located right next to Charles Bridge, in the heart of Lesser Town. The street was constructed even before the existence of Charles Bridge, as some houses are mentioned in old texts from 1326. Our house, which dates back to 1705 was constructed by Tomáš Haffenecker and the apartment accommodated students and clergy who attented the local Slavic school. The ceiling is believed to have been painted by the students attending the semiar.

We had an excellent stay at this perfectly situated property. It is literally steps away from the Charles Bridge and an easy walking distance to all the Old Town, Lesser Town and Castle sights. Small grocery stores are nearby and tons of good restaurants. The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. Check in and out was simple. We loved this place and would definitely stay again next time we are in Prague.

Location, location, location! I have been coming to Prague for years and this apartment is in the best location. The apartment is right next to the Charles Bridge, cafés, restaurants, pubs, sightseeing sites in short walking distance. If you like to have a nice dinner outside, I recommend The Brick restaurant or inside U maliru. Both restaurants require reservation.

Best Property in Prague

There is the best vacation rental I've ever had. If you are going to Prague, book this place ASAP. The location is beyond perfect and the apartment is stunning, historic with modern baths. It was the highlight of our trip and the hosts were so accommodating.

Fantastic location & apartment

Gorgeous modernized Baroque apartment in the best location you could imagine right next to the Charles Bridge. I already miss the painted ceilings and cool decor. It was a 3 minute walk to the Kafka museum and there were so many cool shops and restaurants at our door stop. The hosts were super responsive and helpful as well. We highly recommend this Vrbo and our Famiky with 2 teens loved it.

This place is great!

We loved our stay here. We are 3 adult couples and we’re very comfortable, each with our own bedroom and bath. The location was fantastic, right at the foot of the Charles bridge. A nice restaurant (at which we weren’t able to get a table) and a nice wine bar (at which we had a nice meal of charcuterie) we’re just around the corner. We would definitely stay again.

Great location for a Prague stay at the more quite end of the Charles Bridge. Comfy and quiet space for 3 couples, each with private bath. Good selection of info and guide books, very handy. Kitchen allows for easy breakfast prep, great bakery just down the street. Wonderful city.

Wonderful stay in Prague! The apartment was spacious and authentic with modern upgrades. Sarah was a responsive and proactive host. The property was clean and comfortable for me, my husband and 2 adult children. Location in Lesser Town near Charles Bridge was convenient but quiet and away from the crowds. Gorgeous place- spacious, light, open and beautifully appointed. The communication with the host was truly outstanding- great recommendations and information. Everything was new and worked great- the air conditioning was amazing- such a pleasant change for Europe! The three bedrooms are huge and each has their own full bath. So great for families or couples. And the location is absolutely incredible. I can’t say enough good about this place- definitely stay here!

We loved this place!

We stayed here for 5 wonderful nights just before Christmas and we would definitely book again. The space was perfect for our family, as we recovered from Jetlag everyone had space to spread out. We used the kitchen to make breakfast in the morning, and in the evening we would gather in the living room to play games and catch up about the day’s adventures. We loved it that our host provided us with a Christmas tree, which made the space feel very festive. my only suggestion, would be to include more coffee pods, for weary travelers, who are catching up on Jetlag! The location was shockingly perfect.. just steps from the charles bridge close to so many great sites and restaurants. It really was a perfect stay!

Last Minute Change of Apartment Location

We were very sad not to be able to stay at this beautiful property which had such an amazing location. Our host told us that the previous guests had COVID and had to extend. She made alternate arrangements for us in a similar quality property which was nice but not nearly as well located as her property. These are difficult times, sometimes plans change and you hae to PIVOT. I was very sad about the location change but I thank Sarah for a seamless and professional experience regardless. Because of her professionalim, I maintain the 5 star rating. We enjoyed Prague. The place we did stay at was also very nice and clean just not the same location and character as the one we booked.

Der Himmel auf Erden

Von A bis Z super...ich untertreibe...WELTKLASSE. Das ist keine Wohnung, das ist ein Palast und dann direkt an der Karlsbruecke. Besser geht nicht. Jedes Zimmer besitzt ein sehr bequemes Doppelbett und ein extra Badezimmer/Dusche mit je eigener Toilette. Die Ausstattung..., ein Traum. Besser geht nicht. Die Lage ist einmalig...morgens und Abends ab auf die Karlsbruecke...menschenleer. Das sind besondere Momente in Prag. Direkt um's Eck..die typisch tschechische, urige, Kneipe" Lokal u bilé kuželki"..nur als Tipp....bestes Bier, leckere tschechische Gerichte. Genial. Probiert mal..." SVIČKOVA" Rinderbraten mit Knoedel und Rahmsosse..Nationalgericht..und lecker.Der Merlot Wein dort, sehr gut. Vorteil der Lage Nr.2, quasi auch um's Eck...ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen...der hat jeden Morgen frische, verschiedene Broetchen und 7 Tage in der Woche ab 9 Uhr morgens offen. Da findet man alles zum Fruehstuecken, in der unglaublichen Wohnung. Grosser Esstisch für 8 Personen. Super. Die Gastgeber sind toll. Bei Fragen, haben Sie immer schnellstens und sehr freundlich geantwortet. Bei Ankunft hatten wir gar Glueck und Mathew;-) hat gar auf uns gewartet. Tipp..vor dem Haus Sachen aus Auto laden und dann Auto in eines der vielen MR.PARKING ueberwachten Parkhaeuser bringen..die sind super. Fahrkarten kaufen 24/48/72 Std.kaufen und die Reise kann beginnen. VIELEN DANK SARAH UND MATHEW fuer alles. Alle Personen waren mehr als begeistert. Suuuper. Wir kommen wieder. DAANKESCHOEN :-)
