This accommodation certainly lives up to its name! It is tucked behind a beautiful church, & the only sound you hear, is the ringing of bells, a couple of times each day. The cottage is very clean, well equipped & very comfortable. All rooms are on one level, which was very convenient for us ' oldies! ' The outside kitchen/eating area, was an added bonus. It is situated in a small cave, just outside the entrance to the cottage....we were able to eat outside every day. The town is just a 15minute walk away. It has many eating places, lovely bakeries for those fresh croissants, baguettes & fruit flans! Communication from the owners was very good. A very nice neighbour, Chantelle, welcomed us on their behalf. She was very knowledgeable & helpful, without being intrusive. All in all, it was a perfect 10days, & would recommend this cottage, without any hesitation!

History all around

Very quiet, comfortable, historic house, nicely modernized. The kitchen is fully stocked and we cooked breakfast every morning, but walked to excellent restaurants for the rest of our meals, and bought croissants and other treats at a bakery. The people in town are very friendly, quite a few spoke English, and the rest we managed with smiles, gestures and Google Translate. It was a very good vacation, and the caves, shelters, and museums were fantastic! Checked off a bucket list item visiting Lascaux! We did Lascaux 2 first, in French just to take it all in, then Lascaux 4 in English to understand it all. I recommend doing it that way….2 feels way more authentic than 4 does.

Ruhige, gemütliche Unterkunft in eine wunderbaren Gegend

Ein angenehme, gemütliche und sehr ruhig gelegene Unterkunft in einer phantastischen Umgebung. Zwei Wochen reichen nicht, um all die sehenswerten Begebenheiten zu erkunden und die Gegend in all ihren Facetten zu entdecken. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

tres belle belle découverte

maison a recommander pour des vacances au calmes la sonnerie d une eglise le matin qui annonce une belle journee enormement de choses à faire et à voir un office du tourisme tres professionnel je trouve que la maison n est pas assez mise en valeursur les photos je l ai signalé en toute politesse a la propriétaire nous recommandons cet location sans aucun problème

Excellent séjour

Très belle maison et très située au petit kilomètre du centre du bourg.. lieu très calme, sans bruit avec un chemin de randonnée qui passe au pied de la maison. Un accueil très chaleureux et de bons conseils pour les visites.. Merci pour ce très bon et beau séjour.

Maison de charme et de rêve

Cette jolie maison est située dans un petit paradis du Périgord, on s'y sent comme à la maison, rien ne manque, on peut s'y reposer en toute tranquillité tant c'est calme. Cette location pleine de charme est situé de façon à visiter toutes les curiosités possibles sans jamais trop rouler, grottes, châteaux, maisons troglodytes et j'en passe. Je n'hésite donc pas à conseiller cette location pour passer de bonnes vacances, si l'occasion de représente, j'y séjournerai de nouveau sans hésiter.

Nous avons voyagé en famille avec 2 enfants! La maison est bien située dans un beau village avec beaucoup de choses a faire. Le coin est calme, la maison est fonctionnelle et bien équipée (place de parking, une terrasse) et elle est a 10min à pied du village seulement. Les propriétaires et les gens sur place sont très gentils. Bien situé ; nous étions proches de châteaux, de lac et rivière pour la baignade, grottes, musées et visites en tout genres. J'ai pu joindre sans soucis les propriétaires qui ont répondu à mes questions rapidement.
