Absolutely loved staying there. Great old log cabin with plenty of space. And Green Mountain Falls is a lovely little town, just far enough away from Manitou to be able to really enjoy the peace and quiet.
Nice property, out of the way, but close to town. The house is rustic but very clean & comfortable. We had daily visits from deer right outside the door.
The place was in a beautiful setting for a cabin home! The weather was perfect ,close to a lot of sightseeing places, and it had the feeling of home!!! We all enjoyed our stay
Nice place to gather and spend time making memories with the family. Was a fun experience and the grandkids absolutely loved exploring.
Thank you for sharing your world with us
We loved staying in this beautiful cabin, full of quirky memorabilia and a strong family feeling! Baked apple pie and great meals. The town of Green mountain Falls is charming too! Hiking and biking trails nearby and a short drive away make this a great launch point. Some of us wished we were still kids and could sleep in the loft!

We are glad you and your family had a wonderful time. Keep us in mind if you visit again.
The Antlers is a mountain cabin with unique character and charm. Christy was very accommodating to our needs. Mountain cabins do have limited parking, but we made it work for us. Would stay here again.
This log cabin was comfortable and very charming. The home had plenty of room for our 3 generation family. The kids especially loved the sweet bedrooms on the top floor. The only downside was that the primary bedroom off of the den had a very firm mattress. We were pleased to find that the large tub in the joining bathroom did have a shower though we didn’t see it mentioned in the home description. GMF is a quaint little town with busy energy surrounding the little fishing pond and various hiking trails. It is closely located near Woodland Park, Manitou Springs, and Colorado Springs so there is plenty to do for an extended weeklong stay!
8 adults had plenty of space to come together both inside and outside, but also plenty of space to be alone to enjoy the beautiful Mountain View’s. The house was decorated beautifully and is charming. 3 deer came to visit twice a day and the balcony views were breathtaking. We are already planning a Holiday vacation in the coming years. Great location too.
Awesome location! Far enough from Colorado Springs to escape the heat; close enough to Manitou Springs to do the tourist thingy (and then escape)! Green Mountain Falls had some nice walking distance food, and a short walk to multiple trailheads for some 8,000’ hikes! And the cabin was exactly what it says it is, comfortable and clean, with lots of space for families. Kudos to the host for answering my questions so quickly. Wonderful stay and hope to be back!
My son's family of 8 loved it so much I had a hard time getting them to come to my house..... There was a place for everyone to have privacy and space enough for all to be together. Really, if you like "rustic" and quaint, this is the place for you. Sleeps 10, but 2 would be perfect, TOOOO !!

Very rustic
Green mountain falls is a great place to stay close to Manitou Springs without all the touristy crowds and traffic. The cabin is very rustic with a lot of antique decorations. The beds, kitchen, and bathrooms were all clean but the whole house could use a deep cleaning due to dust and grime build up with all of the knickknacks that cover the walls it collects dust. It is also important to note if you go during the summer there is not air conditioning in this house which is fine but there also are no ceiling fans and only one box fan and small fan. It was very hot in the house and meant most of our time had to be spent outside. It is noted in the description that there is heat but I didn’t not think to ask about air. From booking through Checkout we only received one message after booking that included the door code. However we did not find we needed anything more.
Very much enjoyed our stay! The cabin is really lovely and just what we needed for our trip with family. Very comfortable and had everything on hand! Thank you!
This cabin is what I consider a real cabin, it still has that old charm untouched by modern day remodels, except the lower level where more convenient updates have been made. Properties in Green Mountain Falls are very close to each other, but this property still seemed very private while hanging out in the various outside areas around the cabin. The landscaping is gorgeous! It was just the two of us, and still felt cozy, but the cute rooms upstairs had me wishing we had brought the grandkids, maybe another time.
The property in Woodland Park was beautiful and the view of the mountains fantastic. We were informed that the rustic cabin that we reserved was not available due to a septic problem. Christy contacted us to let us know and provided us with the house in Woodland Park. She was prompt in addressing an issue with the battery on the key code on the door and had it fixed immediately. We enjoyed our stay.
Really enjoyed the big cabin with our grandkids. Great to have so many beds to put little bodies in. Owner was really helpful in making replacement key available when we misplaced the original. Great bonus to find the short hike to Mount Dewey was so convenient! Summer temperatures make it toasty when returning from a day of activity, so nights can start out a bit uncomfortably. Would gladly stay here again if our travels come this way. Thanks,
We wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the space - big table - stocked kitchen - so much sleeping space for our big family. We had great family meals and games at night around the table. Would go back again and again.
Really enjoyed our time staying here over the Memorial Day weekend. The property was clean and ready for us to occupy, and any issue we had was promptly addressed with a quick phone call. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin in Green Mountain Falls.
We stayed at The Antlers over Labor Day weekend. We came to see our cadet at USAFA for parents weekend. The place was a perfect retreat for the family. We cooked each night and enjoyed the beautiful views. Our hosts had everything ready and were quick to respond to one question we had. We hope to stay there again when we come back.
Great place if you need a lot of bedrooms. Older log cabin with tons of antique decorations in mountain country. Very warm and charming place. Stocked with all the cooking items needed for meals. Thin floors and walls so everyone needs to be quiet when going to bed. Only one shower but plenty of towels. Management was wonderful to work with. Would definitely stay there again.
