Very comfortable and clean. Couch and bar stools need replacing. TV internet was frustratingly slow but the rest of the connections were fine.Managers were very responsive. Overall we would stay there again.
A very spacious, comfortable and well equipped place. Conveniently located for trips to London and visits to family in the Winchester area. We had a lovely time!
Second stay at this very convenient, well stocked and maintained, lovely property, with off street parking, within walking distance of the station and downtown Winchester.
The host is extremely easy to communicate with and is very resposive to issues, if any.
Will definitely stay here again.
This was an extremely well appointed, clean and comfortable property in a very convenient location with off street parking. Very comfortable beds and fabulous kitchen.Only drawback might be the noise from the road, which, though not visible is close by, but is not busy except at rush hour. The accommodation is very well maintained and a fun place to stay. Will definitely rent here again on our next trip to Winchester.
We have stayed at the Pavilion 4 or 5 times for multiple weeks at a time. The location is terrific and super convenient to everything. The house is modern, well equipped, has everything you need. Very comfortable and feels like home.

Lovely stylish house, well equipped
We very much enjoyed our stay at The Pavilion. It is comfortable, warm, well equipped and stylish.
The town and area are well worth a visit. The Pavilion is a little further out of town than we had expected, but within walking distance, and also within easy access of good shops.
A clean, modern and stylish house in a lovely area, just a 20 min walk into Winchester town centre. There’s a bus stop just outside. Well-equipped and comfortable.
Wonderful property. Within walking distance to the city center and points of interest. As well, the train station with trains to London, or Southhampton. The kitchen was well outfitted for any of our meals. Quiet location nestled amongst the lush greenery of local gardens. We'll be back.

Great house with a very spacious living room
We've totally enjoyed staying in this lovely and modern house during new year holidays! The area is quiet, and close to city centre and train station (just 10 min walking to get on train to London). Very spacious and stylish living room and big balcony with nice view.. Well-ecquipped, clean, warm and comfort house! Landlords are very hospitable and friendly.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your kind review which we hope will be useful to others looking to book.
My boyfriend and I spent 11 nights in this house as a base for exploring England. We found the house comfortable enough for our needs. While we were out and about most days, when we were in the house we found it convenient to downtown Winchester and the shops and restaurants that we could walk to. Communication with the owner was quick and I appreciate her sorting out an issue with the washwe/dryer quickly. We would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Winchester.

The Pavilion Winchester
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Pavilion. The property is well located for both the city and exploring the local countryside. The layout of the Pavilion is very good. We did discover that one of the windows in the twin bedroom on the ground floor could not be locked. Also, unfortunately the sheet on the double bed was badly marked and soiled and we had to make alternative provisions for sleeping in this bed.

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient
Our family of three from California spent 6 nights at The Pavilion in mid-February. It is well-maintained, in excellent condition, modern and spotless. The photos are accurate - light-filled, even in winter, spacious and clean. The location is very convenient, a 10 minute walk to Waitrose and 10 minutes the opposite way to downtown Winchester. The owners, Caroline and David, are professional and responsive - emails answered within the day.
Two good-sized bedrooms are located on the first floor where you enter. The master has a queen bed and en suite bathroom with large tub and handheld shower. We had a mechanical issue with the bed, but Caroline and David responded to and corrected the issue promptly and thoroughly. The bed is now very comfortable, firm and supportive. The other bedroom contains two single beds, both very comfortable. Both beds have thick lofty quilts which kept us toasty on the cold winter nights. The second bathroom has a roomy rain shower with excellent water pressure. Both bathrooms are impeccably clean and modern. There is an outside enclosed patio with table and chairs that runs the length of the both bedrooms; floor to ceiling windows let plenty of light in. There is a road and bus stop located just on the other side of the patio; while it was very quiet most nights, Saturday night had late night foot and car traffic.
The second floor is a very flexible open living space with a dining table; a comfortable sectional sofa (that expands) and flat screen tv; and a large modern kitchen with island with stools. There is a sliding door to hide the kitchen area but we enjoyed the open loft feel. There’s plenty of light, even in winter, thanks to a balcony that spans the length of the whole room. Sliding wood panels on the balcony modulate the sunlight and give privacy at night - an excellent solution that we used regularly even in winter.
The kitchen is fairly well-appointed. A rubber spatula and measuring utensils would have made it complete but otherwise it met all of our cooking needs. Be aware that the oven seems to run a bit hot so watch your croissants in the morning. Dishwasher, stovetop, washer/dryer and heating system all work well. The heating system is on a timer so you need to remember to override it in the winter if you are at home during the day.
Thank you to Caroline and David for the clean, well-kept modern home that provided us with a home away from home while in Winchester.

Tolle Unterkunft in sehr guter Lage. Super zum Erkunden von Stadt und Umgebung.
Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet. Lokale und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe.
War für uns ein toller Urlaub.
We really enjoyed our stay at "The Corner" in Winchester. Great location and very quiet. The space was great for our 5 travelers with plenty of room to move around. Spacious kitchen and living/dining area with 2 bedrooms and pull out sofa. We did the 15-20 minute walk to town at least 10 times - great exercise. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for making our wedding trip to the UK and Winchester a fantastic one. Jane and Steve
My wife and I spent 4 weeks at the Pavillion whilst house hunting. The Pavillion is a stunning, modern and very comfortable property. We were very happy there. It is situated perfectly, just a 10 to 15 min walk to the High St and 2 mins drive from Waitrose and local shops. There are two excellent pubs serving good food within a few minutes walking distance. The owners were very attentive and friendly even allowing us a late check out. I would recommend this property to anyone. Sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and there is also a sofa bed. Parking for two cars adjacent to the property in a private car park.
The location was ideal as there is a bus stop to the city directly opposite. There is a number of ideal facilities eg washing machine, dishwasher etc but from the first day the cooker starting tripping and needing us to adjust the circuit breaker almost every time we used the oven. An electrician was called by the owner who supposedly corrected the problem which however continued daily. How about compensation for this???

Sorry the oven tripping the electricity was such a problem for you, it is always difficult when a problem does not happen all the time, when the electrician came out and changed the switch it was fine, but then the problem recurred, so we had another electrician out to look at it who also said it was fine, so it is an ongoing issue. It works fine when the trip switch is put back on, it maybe something to do with the temperature the oven is set at that makes it trip.
Hope your stay was enjoyable apart from this.
A smart modern property in a nice part of Winchester, close to the city but also only a very short drive to lovely countryside and good walks. Easy communication with the owner.
This is a wonderfully located property for accessing Winchester and the valley of the River Itchen. The High Street is literally minutes away on foot and the access to a wonderful network of riverside walkways is even closer - great for a run, jog or stroll!
The cottage is well presented and comfortable. It has everything you would need for a short break. The kitchen is well equipped.
The only slight downside is the level of noise from the street.
A great break with the family.
