Overall, this is a great location, with a feel that we a were secluded. The view is spectacular!! They have plenty of towels, plenty of room, a nice big table for 12, plus lots of stools at the bar, making mealtime together an enjoyable experience. So grateful for the air conditioning. The deck is an awesome place to hang out, with plenty of room, while enjoying the Smoky Mountains view. Having the golf course close was good, too!!

The cabin was amazing and so was our week in Gatlinburg. We spent the days visiting places like the aquarium, the mountain coaster, the water park, Anakeesta and, of course, many different eating places. We even had a bear visit us at the cabin. Some evenings there were pool tournaments and just playing games in the game room. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a large cabin. Oh yes, the views were incredible. Everything was great. "Community area" wasn't as big as pictures seemed to indicate. Hosts were very responsive... Pool appeared to be closer than it actually was. When it says watch out for bears.... WATCH OUT FOR BEARS! In the five full days we were there we had a bear (different) on a porch twice and saw others every day. Had a visitor come and she left her hatch back open and a bear went in her car while she was up front. Hot tub was good.

Seeing them from a safe distance, and your story about the open hatchback is a good reminder for all guests to stay bear‑aware, not leave food in the car and keep the car doors locked at all times. This house is perfect for a large family or group of friends to vacation! It’s located at the end of a dead end street. Tons of privacy. The kitchen had everything to meet all our cooking needs. All the bedrooms were spacious. The entire house was clean and well maintained. The hosts are awesome and very quick to respond to our questions or needs. We’ll definitely be coming back here again!

The host was amazing! Very communicative, responsive, and just overall phenomenal! The cabin was exactly as described on the website and very clean! Thoroughly clean! Be careful though! Bears do visit! The best cabin experience ever!

Plenty of room and space for a ton of family and friends. Plenty of activities and a great location and view. All the rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. We had a great time playing cards, cornhole, pool, air hockey and on the arcade games. The theatre was a great end of the night activity after the hot tub. Definitely recommend.

Cons-Not worth for the listed price. Rooms are too congested. Bed quality is not good. Furniture is too old.Bathroom did not have lock from inside.Curtains were not hiding privacy. It was old and broken.Pros-Kids had enjoyed theater, game room.Location is good for outdoor activities.

The home was beautiful covered in snow when we arrived. The view from the back decks was nice.The Kitchen was Fully stocked with dishes & even seasonings that I forgot. Owners were quick with communications with any issues or questions that I had. There was 12 teenagers in our group & they enjoyed the downstairs game room. The Master bedroom on the mainfloor is beautifully done with a bathroom to match.

Hello there,
We are Carlos and Karolina, owners of The Smoky Mountain Lodge. I am from Peru and my wife is from Switzerland. We met on a Caribbean cruise, married in Alaska, and settled in Miami Florida. Over the last 34 years, we have been blessed with 3 children, 2 Grandchildren, and the opportunity to travel, including the Peruvian Andes and the Swiss Alps. Although we love the sea where we met, we both have a special place in our hearts for our mountains and what they represent. So when we first visited the Smoky Mountains we fell in love with the area as we saw them as a memory of each other’s own culture. It was our dream to one day own a Cabin here as a gathering place for our growing family and friends, encouraging them to leave the hustle and bustle of our busy city lives behind and take a pause in our gorgeous Smoky Mountain Lodge.

We simply love its spacious multi level layout, the numeous living rooms and gathering places, the facilities, the overall area, close enough to enjoy the attractions of the main towns nearby but far enough to relax and enjoy the wilderness and serene views of the Great Smoky Mountains and National Park.
We are enjoying it to the fullest with our family and friends and when not in town, we want to share the same experience with you.

What makes this property unique

It is an easy drive on the newly paved road and access from East or West US 321.

It is close enough to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville but far enough to enjoy the peacefulness, lots of fresh mountain air and surrounding forest and wilderness.
It's bright rooms lighten the mood and are a perfect recipe to relax and recharge.
The back entry access to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park as well as Cades Cove, is just minutes away. There are plenty of choices for grocery shopping along the way.
