Stable Properties - Spectacular views on Lake Champlain

Surrounded by manicured lawns and acres of meadows and woods, the "Orchard" cottage consists of two full bedrooms, a large living and kitchen/dining area and one bath. Sip on a cool drink on its spacious deck and enjoy magnificent views of Lake Champlain, Walk down to our small sandy beach for a swim in the lake, or take advantage of our pick-your-own garden. This cottage is fully stocked, from wine glasses to a charcoal grill. **One-week minimum rental required (Sat-Sat) during the months of July & August. Some exceptions may apply based on availability**

Adirondack Retreat

The Stables property was a perfect spot for us to relax. We were able to visit our local friends and family in a comfortable environment with outstanding views. The host ,family and team went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our weeks stay . Fantastic week. We will be back .

Cute cottage

We enjoyed our stay. Would have liked to have known no oven and TV. Tennis courts needs to fixed and weeded. Otherwise super cute and quiet! The fireflies were on full display!

Fantastic for Families

The Orchard Cottage is perfect for families, especially with young kids. The bedroom set up with 2 bedrooms (1-King bedroom, separate bedroom with 2 twins) was perfect for our family. The bathroom was very spacious with 2 sinks and a shower/tub combo. The private beach and rolling green lawns and meadows surrounding the property are incredible. The tennis court (racquets and balls provided) and croquet set was perfect for the kids. The playground and pick-your-own garden were fabulous and we even picked our own squash for dinner. There is a Weber grill and charcoal chimney at the cottage and several great restaurants close-by in Westport and Essex, NY. Very clean space, beautiful deck overlooking the lake, with outside table for 4, clean sheets and very well equipped kitchen (no food staples, but with all equipment needed to cook for a week) as well as paper goods. There were even puzzles in the closets for a rainy day. Complete solitude, we never heard another person! No noise but nature, crickets/fireflies at night and deer outside the cottage in the early morning. Totally relaxing and we’ll definitely stay here again!
