Easy check-in and out process. Good communication with owner prior to the trip (we did not need to contact the owner during the trip). I did not expect the resort to be luxurious but was still a bit disappointed in the unit since I tried to do extensive research to find a more updated unit. The listing indicated that the kitchen had been updated with granite countertops, etc. While the appliances were very nice and updated, the cabinets were older and just repainted and the counters were formica. That would not have bothered me if it had not specifically called out being updated and granite in the listing. The bathroom counters and cabinets HAD been updated as stated in the description. All in all, both the facility and the unit adequately served the purpose of getting away and relaxing, The unit was spacious enough for our family of four and was well stocked to cook (if you wanted to), go to the beach (towels, for example), explore the area (books, coupon brochures, etc.) Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap) in the bathrooms was a nice touch. One of the showers had some mold which was easily cleaned off (so not sure why the cleaners had not - possibly it was left a little moist and had been some time since the last rental). Note that while were there, the cafe closed at 7pm - so plan to have dinner offsite if you want to eat later than that. There are plenty of dining options in the area and in general the resort is well located to get up and down the keys. Overall, the experience was probably about par for us booking a place relatively late and not wanting to spend a zillion dollars per night. As this was our first time the keys, I have nothing to compare it to but I might splurge for a more high end place if we were to go back.
