Home on the Range @ Buchanan Vacation - On Golf Course, POOL & FREE RIVER ACCESS

This beautiful home is in the Golf course area of Concan, between the 2nd and 3rd crossing of the Frio River. This beautiful home features 5 bedrooms and 5 baths and sleeps up to 20. The main living area includes a huge fireplace towering up to the 18 foot ceilings as well as a fully furnished kitchen with granite counter-tops and custom made cabinets and a live edge dining room table. All bedrooms have their own private bath with tailor-made cabinets and granite. Outside, you can watch as the golfers try to land on the 17th green from the specially designed sports pool or the Cabana, which includes an outdoor TV, sink, and grill.

Guest access to the Frio River is free at the 1st Crossing (The Swimming Hole, shown in Google Maps).

Note: There is NO gate/fence between the back door of the home and the pool area, but the pool area overall is enclosed.

Pillows, bed sheets and light bed covers are provided, but towels are not provided. Any additional toiletries after the initial supply is the responsibility of the renter. Customer's must bring their own trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels.

No Pets, Smoking and Vaping Outdoors Only

Pets are NOT ALLOWED. Any pet found on the property will result in the forfeiture of your deposit and immediate eviction with no refund. The same policy applies to smoking in the home. Please don't make us have to enforce these!

Families preferred, no parties, and renter must be at least 25 years of age.

Buchanan Vacation Homes Rental Agreement will be sent before booking and includes terms and conditions of rental.

Great Location for Fun in the Frio and Golf

We had a fun trip with a large group of friends and really enjoyed the location, house setup, cleanliness, and proximity to the Frio and golf. I highly recommend this spot for a fun getaway.

Beautiful Family Getaway

This was a perfect place for our family to have a vacation all together after more than a decade apart. The house is beautiful and was clean when we arrived. The pool felt great and everything was easy to access! Not too far from town and enough to feel secluded. I would definitely come back again!

This property met the needs of our group perfectly! The house is spacious and each bedroom has its own restroom. The patio with pool and wet bar was a great space for all of us to relax and socialize. We loved that the rental included access to the gorgeous Concan swimming hole. Our host, Shane, was great and responded promptly when we needed support. I give this awesome property my highest recommendation!

Beautiful house and great location

We had a group of 14 people and had more than enough room. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, the outside bar and grill was a great spot to sit and relax beside the pool which is also amazing. I would highly recommend this home, it’s amazing.

Amenities Are Important

This property has a pool, queen sized bunks, and provides sheets on the bed. Those three things set it apart from other properties. This definitely moves to the top of my list for places to stay in Concan.

Great house quick getaway

4 days 3 nights 16 teen boys, 3 adults House was perfect!!! All the kids had more than enough room to move around. Bedrooms and bed space was exactly what we needed. Tubing and Garner State Park only a few minute drive. We had a great time!!

The house had plenty of room for our group of 16! The pool area was the perfect place to hangout. We grilled every night and enjoyed seeing the deer come up to the yard. The kids were entertained by the pool and play set and the fire pit was perfect for hanging out and making s’mores. We would definitely stay again! Thank you

Great Family Getaway

We had a group of 14 and there was plenty of space for everyone. The layout of the house is awesome and there was plenty of room throughout the house. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The pool and outside bar were a relaxing spot after a day on the river. The Property Manager Shane is amazing and was very responsive to any questions we had prior to our trip and we will definitely stay at the house again. Thank you Shane and Helen for a wonderful get away!

50th Celebration

We were celebrating my 50th and we really enjoyed ourselves. We got to go to the river that was close by, play golf also close by and relax by the pool. The house was nice and clean when we arrived as well as the check in was easy. The only thing I will say is the one bedroom to the right as you walk out to the pool area was not comfortable; for me that is. Other than that we all had a great time and looking forward to going out again soon.

Memorial Trip for Friend

Our friends from Chicago joined us to celebrate the loss of their dad one year prior. We wanted a place where we could chill by the pool, have the two children play on a playground and have plenty of bedrooms for everyone to have the privacy they needed. Our host, Shane met us at the house and was so helpful with little tips. We had such a wonderful experience! The house was so lovely and so clean. The kitchen was so well stocked with every kind of pot and pan we could have asked for. The handmade table was gorgeous and amazing for visiting. I cannot say enough about this place!
