Beautiful Apartment for rent, big balcony with a fantastic view, lots of light. 1 block north from Swiss Hotel, 10th floor. Fully furnished, 1 master, 1 ½ baths, washer/Dryer, dishwasher, induction stove, high speed internet, 24 hour security, key-card for elevator.
Fully equipped one bedroom apartment, Queen bed with black out curtains in bedroom for late sleeping if needed!, two bathrooms, a stunning and awesome 10th floor balcony overlooking Mount Pichincha and Quito city. High speed wireless internet. For people who want to be close to the excitement this location is ideal and also you will find a quiet place to sleep at night. It is within walking distance of Plaza Foch, within one or two blocks you will find many great restaurants and bars, a grocery store, farmers market, drugstore, shops. It is also very easy to catch a taxi right out front to head to any other area of the city. The building itself is very secure, with guests needing a key card to get into the building and to use the elevators.

The apartment is modern and fully furnished: fridge, induction stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, iron, iron table, washer/dryer, kitchen utensils, cleaning utensils, Smart TV, Netflix, Wifi-high speed. The apartment has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, hair dryer, with clean towels, bed linens and an extra blankets. The living room has two sofa-beds.
The building is located on a main avenue, therefore the guests will have convenient public transportation. At your arrival to the airport, I can arrange with a reliable taxi driver to pick you up and bring you to the apartment. He charges US$25 day or night time.

Wonderful place to stay

Mildred is a wonderful host and her unit is really the best. I stayed for three weeks, and I will definitely stay again. She was there to meet me at check in, and she really puts in the extra effort to ensure that her unit is comfortable and guests feel welcome. The kitchen has everything you need, the washer/dryer worked great, hair dryer in the bathroom, and it is ideal for long-term stays. Mildred even stored my luggage for me when I had to leave for a business trip that overlapped with my checkout. I'll stay here again for sure!

Beautiful view, nice area, has everything you need

I loved the view from this apartment. I sat outside each morning having breakfast and looking over the city. The apartment is just like the pictures look, but it feels a bit bigger. Mildred was kind enough to arrange for her trusted taxi driver to pick me up at the airport, which worked out perfect. I used him later on for other touring around when I wanted someone for an entire day. She also left bottled water, fruit and bread for me. There was coffee available as well, so this was a great way to start in Quito. The neighborhood seems upscale, and there's a number of restaurants one block away. It's centrally located with lots of reasonably priced Ubers nearby. Lastly, a huge perk is Mildred's apartment as a combo washer/dryer, so you don't need to bring as many clothes. When in Quito, this is the place to stay!

Satisfying experience in every way!

Connecting with Mildred, the owner, was immediate and personable from the very beginning! She kindly arranged arrival and departure transportation for us; she provided fruit, coffee, jug of water, cold treats to get us started. The apartment is as shown online, maybe more spacious. It is well equipped and stocked. Mildred provides thorough instructions, better than any other VRBO we have visited. She has thought of everything; clearly she takes pride and pleasure in her apartment. The only downside of our stay was traffic noise, and a loud late Saturday night party which is apparently unusual.

An amazing apartment in Quito

This modern artful apartment was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in. Ms Vega made sure every detail was attended to prior to our arrival. There was fresh milk for coffee, bottled water, and she brought in fresh rolls and fruit for us. It was a very spacious bedroom with plenty of storage, and the building was located in midtown with easy access to anything we needed. Muchas gracias, Mildred!

This location was OUTSTANDING!!!

I don’t know what else I can say but OUTSTANDING!!!. Ms. Mildred received me with open arms as if we knew each other for years. She was very accommodating as well as informative. The apartment was superb with everything you need for a “home away from home” and the view was great as well. There is 24 hour security, local phone and washe/dryer. Everything was close by to include a supermarket just a short walk away. The areas felt super safe to the point that I was walking to most places day and night. I definitely recommend this place and the hospitality of Ms. Mildred, for my next visit I will definitely come back here “home”. Thank you Ms. Mildred.

I was born in Quito, Ecuador. Ever since I was a child, I traveled through different countries in North, Central and South America. I studied in bilingual schools, hence I learned English there. I married a Canadian and lived in Ontario, Canada for 12 years. Almost four years ago, I joined Airbnb and I very much enjoy having guests from different countries and cultures. I love welcoming my guests and explaining things about my country.

Further more, all my life, I’ve liked making handicrafts. Nine years ago, I took a jewellery class and it became my passion. After that course, I began searching for original and innovative materials to use. My search led me to the Amazon region of my country, where I learned more about the tagua nut, which is being reintroduced to the world as an eco-friendly alternative to elephant ivory.

From the tagua nut, people have learned how to sculpt figurines and beads for jewellery. I take my inspiration from the shapes, colors and textures of the tagua nut. And that is how, in 2004, I began to make my own exclusive tagua designs.

I bought this suite, because I love this part of the city. I enjoy the Mount Pichincha view from the balcony. This building has many accesible places.
