This rental was PERFECT for our group of two couples and our adult daughter! The listing is very accurate with its three beds and two full bathrooms. Our course the patio was our favorite spot for morning coffees and evening cocktails. We were able to walk to many local eateries and catch an uber to everyplace we wanted to go within 10 minutes! We felt right at home in this quiet neighborhood! One last thing…the host has excellent communication and was gracious to allow for early checkin! I will DEFINITELY book again and refer this property to my travel clients!

We would like to clarify an important point for future guests: the apartment was not used during this reservation. The guests chose to leave without staying, based on personal impressions rather than an experienced stay in the property.
The apartment accurately reflects the photos and description on the listing. All beds are standard Queen size, exactly as stated. We do not offer custom-made beds, and there was no discrepancy between what was advertised and what was provided.
Our apartment is clean, comfortable, and fully equipped, and this is consistently confirmed by our overwhelmingly 5-star review history. While we respect that preferences vary, we want to be transparent:
we offer a family-friendly, budget-conscious accommodation with 5-star service, not a luxury product marketed as such.

Overall, this is a good place to stay near the beach in the San Juan area. We really liked the outdoor patio and easy access to parking. Finally, the location is near to most amenities you could use. It is a adult friendly location.

Our host communicated well as issues arose. Upon arrival we were a bit taken back by how the neighborhood in general looked, and some aspects of the apartment were not as well appointed as the VRBO pictures, (which seems to be a common problem with VRBO's these days). The apartment did work well for our jaunts into Old San Juan via Uber, and to the rain forest with a rental car from Target rental which was only a couple blocks away and recommended by our host. We never felt unsafe. although one night about 2 am the police were on the patio shining lights around evidently looking for someone. The AC in the unit worked great, and the 3 bedrooms with 2 baths was perfect for our group. Water pressure was an issue one night. the infrastructure in the neighborhood is strained. So. this place served it's purpose for us, but next time i would probably spend more and stay closer to the ports or Old San Juan.

We’d like to add a bit of context for future guests. During this period, the entire San Juan area experienced an extended municipal water outage that lasted nearly three weeks. Thanks to our cistern system, guests continued to have water service throughout this situation. On one evening there were a few hours of reduced pressure while the cistern was refilling — something that can occasionally happen during large-scale outages, but we’re grateful it was brief.
Regarding the neighborhood, the apartment is located in a residential, local area that many travelers choose specifically for its authentic atmosphere, walkability, and proximity to La Placita, restaurants, and major attractions. We focus on offering a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath fully equipped apartment at a price that is often lower than a single hotel room in the same area, providing strong value for families and small groups who want space, comfort, and full amenities.
The police presence mentioned was not related to our property. Patrol vehicles periodically conduct routine preventative rounds in residential neighborhoods, and we were not notified of any incident involving our building or guests.
