Walk to Attitash/Bear Peak Lodge/Saco River close to Storyland and North Conway

Welcome to our home “A Notch Above” where we are nestled between the bases of Attitash and Bear Peak Mountain. This private, spacious, family-friendly home provides a relaxing environment to experience all that the White Mountains have to offer. It is a perfect place for families and friends looking to enjoy all the entertainment and adventures in the Mountain Washington Valley or to just relax and take a break from life's everyday demands. Our home is perfectly situated in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood where you can enjoy the area all year long.

Our 2,400 sq. ft, 5-bedroom, 2.5 bath home offers plenty of room for guests to spread out and relax. The entire home is air conditioned as well as equipped with a whole-house generator to ensure our guests never lose power. The open-concept living area on the main floor, features high-definition televisions on main and lower level, full kitchen and dining area that seats eight. Our homes occupancy is for 9 adults and 2 children (bunk beds) and can sleep 2 families comfortably.

Bedrooms:
Located off a loft-style hallway, the upper level features a queen bedroom and a second room equipped with a full bed and twin bunk beds, ideal for one adult and two kids, both connected by a convenient walk-through bathroom. On the main floor, there's another queen bedroom. On the lower level, you'll find an additional queen bedroom along with a second room that has two twin beds.

Winter:
Our home is just a short 5-minute stroll from the Bear Peak Base Lodge. It's the perfect spot to kick off your ski day, hop on a lift and make your way over to Attitash or catch the free shuttle over to Attitash Base Lodge. The Bear Peak Base Lodge features a retail store, pub and cafeteria where you can enjoy lunch or some après-ski fun, but many of our guests prefer walking home for lunch before setting out again for the afternoon on the slopes. Other local ski resorts, including Wildcat, Black Mountain, Cranmore and Bretton Woods, are only a few minutes away.

Summer / Fall:
During the summer and fall months guests love our expansive deck for dining and gathering or enjoy an evening of smores and stories at the campfire. You can also take a quiet walk around the neighborhood, wave to the Conway Scenic Train as it passes by, walk over to Thorne Pond Conservation Area and the Saco River where you can wade in the river or hike and bike the network of riverside trails. We are located near many of the Mount Washington Valley's favorite spots. While here, you can experience a fun-filled family day at Story Land, just 9 minutes away, stroll through the shops and eateries in North Conway Village, soak up the charm of Jackson, or explore the stunning trails, waterfalls, and scenic drives all just a short distance away. Once your adventures are done, come back to relax in the comfort and tranquility of home.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS:

#1: If you would like to reserve our home, we would appreciate it if you could share some information about yourself and the members of your group who will be staying with us when you book.

#2: All guests are required to review and electronically sign the rental agreement and house rules, which will be emailed to you via “Docusign" soon after your reservation is confirmed.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

#1: Winter guests please note that during the winter months the deck and grill are not available for use.

#2: Our property is equipped with outdoor cameras at the front driveway and rear entrance.

#3: Our property also is equipped with noise level sensor called "NoiseAware", which is in the main living area and on the deck. This sensor measures ambient decibel levels and protects guests and homeowner from possible unwarranted neighborhood complaints.

#4: Optional use of wood stove (December to March): For an additional fee guests may enjoy the use of the wood stove. We will provide enough firewood for two nights (2 to 3 hours a night). We wish we could provide more wood, but we simply cannot keep up with the demand logistically. Please request to use the wood stove when you book and we will add it to your reservation.

#5: Guests planning to use the outdoor fire pit must obtain a fire permit from the state of New Hampshire and provide their own firewood. Detailed instructions for obtaining the permit will be included in the check-in information sent to you a few days prior to your arrival.
