About this property
On Mountain Time | Hot Tub + Air Hockey + Fire Pit + Swim, You're "On Mountain Time"
On Mountain Time
Built in October 2018, this open-concept home has everything guests need and want: natural pine cathedral ceilings, bright and airy spaces, and room for everyone to spread out without feeling disconnected. Whether you're a single or multi-generational family needing space to breathe, this home has you covered. After hosting for ten years, I can honestly say this home is a place where families come back to year after year.
The Space
Four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, so there's plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The primary suite has a king bed and private bath on the second floor. On the main floor, you'll find a bedroom with a full bed, another bedroom with two twin beds, and another full bathroom. And the lower level has another bedroom with a queen bed and another full bathroom—perfect if grandparents or another couple want their own space.
The finished daylight basement is honestly one of my favorite places. It's a second living area that keeps the kids happy on rainy afternoons with a 70" TV, air hockey table, granite kitchenette with built in fridge for snacks and drinks. An indoor gas fireplace keeps the whole place cozy through winter.
Outdoor Living
The 36' deck is your spring, summer, and fall sanctuary—partially covered for those days when you want shade but still want the fresh air. It's furnished with a Polywood dining set and Adirondack chairs, perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. There's also a fire pit for gathering.
Below, tucked away on the lower level, is a private Nordic hot tub—completely secluded for those peaceful soak-under-the-stars moments. There's also a large yard where the kids and pets can run around safely.
Location & Access
On Mountain Time offers a peaceful, private setting while remaining minutes from everything the Mount Washington Valley has to offer. You'll have easy access to:
Family Fun: Story Land (2.1 mi), Living Shores Aquarium (2 mi), Kahuna Laguna Water Park (8.4 mi), Conway Scenic Railroad (7.6 mi)
Outdoor Exploration: Diana's Baths (4.8 mi), Cathedral Ledge (6.3 mi), Black Cap Trail (8.6 mi), Kancamagus Highway (19 mi)
Dining & Shopping: Downtown Jackson (4.5 mi), Settler's Green Outlets (9.7 mi)
Plus, you also have access to our private association beach on the Saco River and neighborhood hiking access to Mount Stanton. If you've got friends or family staying at Trail's End or Stowe Away, they're just next door and if they're at Chalet on the Hillside, it's just a short walk—great for groups who want to be close but have their own space.
Practical Details
Parking is ample and paved, so you won't have to worry about the weather. Everything here is designed to make your stay easy and comfortable.
Your Safety & My Philosophy
I've installed a Ring doorbell that monitors the driveway and entryway for everyone's peace of mind. That's it—no cameras inside or anywhere else on the property. Your privacy matters to me as much as it matters to you.
After hosting for a decade, I've learned that the best stays happen when guests feel genuinely welcome and respected. This is a family home, and I'd love to keep it that way—no events or parties, just good people enjoying time together.

Thank you for such a kind and thoughtful review! I'm so happy that your stay was exactly what you were hoping for. Meeting you in person was a bonus—that rarely happens. You were wonderful guests, and your positive energy made our chats so memorable. I'm grateful for guests like you who bring such warmth and appreciation to our home. I can't wait to welcome you back to "On Mountain Time"!
We had an amazing time at Michelle’s home! The house is beautiful and the location was perfect for all the big and little things we wanted to do- the amusement parks and Mt Washington as well as visiting Diana’s baths and playing in the Saco river. The covered bridge gift shop nearby was adorable and we loved the Mexican restaurant down the street too! The home was so comfortable and more than enough space for six of us from three generations and Michelle even texted us to let us know we could get into the home earlier in the day if we wanted on our arrival day. She was super responsive to everything we needed. We are already planning our next trip back!!!

Thank you so much for your review! I'm thrilled you had such a great time! It was a joy hosting your multi-generational family and hearing about all the adventures you packed in. I love that you discovered some of the local gems too, like the Covered Bridge Gift Shoppe and the Mexican restaurant (my favorite)!
But truly, the biggest compliment is that you're already planning your next trip back. That means everything to me! Knowing you loved our home enough to want to return is what makes hosting rewarding.
I truly can't wait to welcome you and your family back. Thank you for choosing "On Mountain Time"!
Michelle was responsive to everything, every step of the way. We enjoyed the hot tub, the grill and the fire pit! The kitchen had everything we needed. Your thought of leaving condiments was so helpful. I also appreciated the Pantene and soap in the shower! As a home owner of five houses myself, I found your new house to be well built as well. We appreciated all of it.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review, John. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and I hope to welcome you back again.
Great location. Bedrooms nicely spread out and 2 large TV's for watching the Olympics. Spices on the kitchen helped with what we forgot. Michelle is a great host- very responsive
This home was perfect for our family, which included 5 adults and two young children. The layout gave everyone their own space, helping keep the peace on the road. Upon arrival, we all noted how clean the property was. The home is cozy but airy and in a stellar location for adventuring in the North Conway area. The host was incredibly helpful and informative leading up to our stay, and the check-in process was a breeze. We will certainly plan to book this home in the future, should travel plans bring us back to this area.

I am so happy you enjoyed your stay and I look forward to hosting you again!
We had a wonderful time! The location was great and the property was beautiful. The house was clean and very comfortable. We can’t wait to plan our stay next year.
My family recently stayed at the “On Mountain Time” property, and we had an absolutely terrific time. Everything was fantastic! The house was well-prepared for our stay - a stocked kitchen, stocked bathrooms, everything we needed to make our stay easy and convenient. I did a lot of cooking while at the house, as it was my wife’s birthday weekend, and my cousin, his wife and kids also came up for the weekend. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook 2 separate (giant) breakfasts, whip up snacks, cook pasta and a homemade Bolognese sauce, as well as cakes and desserts - and everything was easy to find. We were able to bring our dog, and he was so happy to be there the entire time, he didn’t want to leave at the end. The hot tub was incredibly clean, as was the rest of the house. The property was also in a superb location - not on top of tons of other houses, but not too far from the things we wanted to do. We ventured out to dinner at The Red Parka Pub one night, and to Saco River Brewing Taphaus for lunch one day as well. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, comfortable beds, and my 7 and 5 year olds loved the fact that they had their own little twin beds. They also loved the air hockey table! The host was AMAZINGLY responsive, incredibly helpful, and super easy to work with. 10/10 all around - and we look forward to staying at “On Mountain Time” again in the future, during ski season and summer.

A beautiful property for our family’s trip to Storyland. Michelle is a great communicator and very responsive to any questions. We loved how much space we had and felt like we were never on top of each other. Although our stay was definitely an extremely hot week, we still enjoyed soaking in the hot tub! Highly recommend.

About the host
Hosted by Michelle Karr
We are an active, outdoorsy family who reside in Exeter, New Hampshire. We have three sons (ages 12, 26, and 29) and all have a passion for skiing and snowboarding.
Why they chose this property
After renting a seasonal ski home for three years, the owner decided to sell it. Having already fallen in love with the area and having made great friends, we decided to build a home to make our own.
What makes this property unique
We first fell in love with the location of our home and second, the layout. Although it offers plenty of privacy, it is also conveniently located to everything the Valley has to offer.
