Great location. Spacious home.
The owner, Nicholas was very helpful and got back to us with any questions we had very quickly. His sister was staying in the above apartment and we really didn’t even know she was there. Pool was great, but is not heated (something to keep in mind when it is a little cooler on some summer days). The house was roomy, with 3 bedrooms upstairs and spacious TV room. A five-minute drive to a great beach in Watch Hill and close to town. There is a serene nature reserve within walking distance. The owner left a detailed binder with lots of excellent suggestions to restaurants etc. Our only issues were, you could smell dog in the main larger bedroom, especially on the chaise lounge and on the pillows in the TV room my allergies kicked in, as I got dog hair on my clothes etc. Also, the air conditioner to one of the bedrooms is plugged into the only full bathroom in the house, so you can’t completely close the bathroom door unless you unplug that room’s air conditioner. The air-conditioners are only in the bedrooms and there are ceiling fans throughout the rest of the house which was enough to keep the house cool except on extremely hot days. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
