The Bikini Bungalow of South Mission Beach!

Welcome to South Mission Beach! Where you can surf, fish, play volleyball, bask in the sun, go for morning runs on the boardwalk (bay and beachside), sail, ride a fake wave, eat ice cream cones, and ride a roller coaster while you watch waves break on the beautiful sand. The amenities are endless and relaxing on this peninsula. The area is quaint and you begin to feel like a local in no time.

This beautiful condo has a 1000 sq feet of living space with 2 large bedrooms and a large kitchen and dining area. The front includes a spacious front patio for you and your guests to enjoy BBQs and visiting time during your vacation. The cottage sleeps 6 comfortably & 8 can be accommodated! Make sure to read the added amenities...you will be amazed!

It's time to relax and have fun. All you have to do is get here and exhaust yourself playing in the ocean and running on the sand. At night, you can melt into the luxurious linens. Sleep as the ocean air rejuvenates your soul.

2 large bathrooms and an outside shower are helpful for getting ready to hit the town later in the evening.

Had a great stay. The outdoor fire pit wouldn’t start but wasn’t a big deal. Excellent spot for folks driving in. My SUV fit great in the back.

Great location

Great location a few steps from Mission Beach. We had plenty of room for our family of 4. Parking is tight in the neighborhood if bringing a vehicle - we were able to make it work. Nice property!

We loved our stay at this property. The location was great, beach access was awesome and it was quiet. We had everything we needed! The bathrooms needs some updating but otherwise the home was a very nice getaway!

Here's a draft for your review:I recently stayed at this property for my birthday with my sister, 3-year-old niece, grown niece, and son. While the location and charm of the house were appealing, our experience was severely marred by significant plumbing issues and a lack of support from the host.Unfortunately, the master bathroom flooded not once, not twice, but three times, with water flowing into the master bedroom. After sopping up water 3x, guests had to sleep on the couch due to the situation. The host, Tess, was virtually non-responsive, providing minimal guidance and expecting us to coordinate with a plumber who was scheduled for the next day. However, she then unexpectedly canceled our booking, leaving us to find alternative arrangements without even a call. Despite multiple attempts to reach out via phone and text—eight calls went unanswered—Tess accused me of being volatile for simply seeking assistance during a crisis. The plumber confirmed that this flooding issue was not new and stemmed from renovations that failed to upgrade the plumbing for the property's needs (using laundry and shower simultaneously).This experience was incredibly scary, as I have never encountered such severe flooding before. The lack of support made a difficult situation even worse. While the property itself is cute, the treatment I received was far from acceptable, and I cannot recommend staying here given the host’s indifference to these serious issues.

Our stay at Tess's beach house was truly enjoyable, with the property providing everything we needed and more. The decor was tastefully done, and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the convenient walking distance to various amenities, such as the beach, bay, shopping, food, and coffee shops. The outdoor space & parking space was a welcome bonus. Our group agreed that the accommodations were excellent, and we plan to book again.

Couldn't have asked for anything more for our family of four for a San Diego vacation. Property is just a short walk to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. Everything you might need is on site including washer and dryer which is great for a week-long stay. Highly recommend. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to have a recycling container at the property.
