Welcome to our wonderful mountain home!

Sitting on the deck, you will look out over an expansive valley with a breathtaking view of the Mummy Range in the Rocky Mountains of Northern Colorado! Relish in the peaceful sounds of nature among the rock outcroppings just outside your back door. Enjoy hiking the numerous meandering trails, kayaking the private lakes and biking the many miles of paths; all while viewing the abundant wildlife around you. This is an amazing getaway you'll always remember!

With a master bedroom loft complete with a designer bathroom revealing full mountain views and two tastefully decorated bedrooms, this mountain home very comfortably sleeps 7 adults. Plus, a pack 'n play is available for little ones. A full main-level bathroom - featuring pine forest views from the shower - and an additional three-quarter bath will more than accommodate your needs.

To satisfy your culinary desires, this mountain home has a nothing-overlooked, well-appointed kitchen complete with a Silver Series Weber gas grill on the deck... for sizzling that perfect ribeye.

When taking a break from the myriad outdoor activities, you can relax on the Sunsetter® awning shaded deck or settle into the leather-upholstered great room boasting full A-frame window views of the Rocky Mountains. If games are your thing, hang out in the game room and play billiards or just chill and watch a Netflix movie - projected life size with surround sound.

If you are looking to find a little more action, delightful Old Town Ft. Collins is an easy 35 minute drive down the mountain where you can find world-class shopping, enjoy a multitude of restaurants, taverns, theaters and music halls, white water raft the Cache La Poudre River or catch a sporting event at Colorado State University. To the west, Red Feather Lakes Village is a picturesque 15 minute drive further into the mountains featuring more lakes, hiking, sledding, mountain biking, fishing, groceries and a few cozy restaurants.

Perfect stay!

Our family stayed in this fantastic cabin for a long weekend! It was perfect!! Roomy, had everything we needed and the views were unbelievable!! The drive from Fort Collins to Livermore was unbelievable. Our host was so helpful with questions and directions. Everything was great and we’d definitely stay here again!

Incredible property with every detail thought out. Loved all the extras (cozy blankets everywhere!!) that made it feel like we were at home. Kids loved the game room and parents loved the zero-gravity chairs to watch the hummingbirds on the deck. Beautiful area to explore and perfect place to relax and unplug. Host was incredible by sending written directions in case our cell service failed in the mountains (which it did) so we were still able to get to the house. Also loved the small pond and nearby lakes.

Work trip with relaxation!

Could not ask for more! Always nice to enjoy the wonderful view, while cooking on the grill! Playing pool after a long day at the dairy farms is always relaxing!

Relaxing and Beutiful

The family had a wonderful time at this mountain home. The access was easy and the views are amazing. We had a deer that came right up to the back door and napped under the porch. The family enjoyed the pool table and movie room during the evenings and one day when we had a little rain. There were many hiking trails nearby and we tried our hand at fishing one day. The cabin is clean and comfortable for a family of six. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presented itself. Great Host and Great cabin.

Home Away From Home

Had all comforts of home and amenities to make our stay very comfortable, fun and relaxing. Beautiful views including deer that showed up right outside dining & kitchen windows. Highly recommend staying here if coming to Red Feather Lakes area.

A Great Place to Vacation

Great place for relaxing, studying and inspiration

Great getaway for me to do work study and work on some of my music. I also really enjoyed doing some trail running on nearby trails in the community. Can't beat the views from the cabin! Very cozy and functional home as well. Host was super friendly.

Spectacular views !

Wonderful views, wildlife, and comfort of home. Very relaxing stay yet busy with Cheyenne Frontier Days and PBR. Even fit in fishing and trail ride with local stables. Would highly recommend this home. Beds comfortable, kitchen fully equipped, clean, and spacious. Would love to return

Moving son out of CSU Dorm

We were in CO to move our son out of his dorm at CSU in Fort Collins, and wanted to stay for a couple extra nights in the area. The cabin was perfect for our group of six. We hiked the trails within walking distance of the cabin, and also drove to the Red Feather Lakes area and walked the trail around Dowdy Lake. (We spent our 1st day in the oldtown area of Fort Collins and picked up groceries there as well.) The views were beautiful, beds were comfortable, kids had fun exploring and everything we needed was there! Great little mini-vacation!

Another amazing stay!

What can we say but that Karen and the property are amazing! The property is beautifully sited as it is the last home on a dead-end road overlooking a canyon with 100-foot cliffs off two sides. The home has EVERYTHING you need to enjoy your stay including bikes, kayaks, fishing poles, and more. The community has very well kept hiking trails. Fort Collins is about 40 minutes away, as is the Cache La Poudre River. The 2nd morning of our stay, we were awakened at 0500 with a Great Horned Owl out our bedroom window! We were also visited by a small flock (4) of turkeys that day! The community's "resident" mule deer wander about regularly. Another evening we had a bald eagle alight in one of the trees, doubtless looking for dinner in the valley below. If you watch closely, you may even spot golden eagles cruising high overhead as we did! We love this cabin and owner and will make the trip, yet again!

Beautiful cabin with amazing views and the most gracious host!

We have stayed with Karen 3 times now. We love this cabin. It is secluded with gorgeous mountain views. It comfortably sleeps at least 5 people. It has a fun game room with a projector screen and pool table that my adult children love! We love the wood burning stove in the evenings. Very comfortable furnishings to enjoy. Karen the host went above and beyond on this last stay we just had. We were snowed in and I was concerned about not having enough food or medical supplies for my daughter who has a chronic illness. She communicated with me all day the 2 days we were snowed in, and worked with her HOA to be sure we were well informed. The 2nd day we were snowed in, she offered to drive food and supplies to us as far as she could to get us what we needed. She is just the most caring and attentive host you will ever come across on VRBO. We wouldn't stay anywhere else for a quiet mountain get away other then at her beautiful cabin.

Short getaway wasn't long enough

The rental was very nice and clean. Great layout for a group, even though there were only two of us. The views were beautiful. We were expecting the views to only be from the yard or property, but every room had a beautiful view. The kitchen was well equipped including a few baking supplies and spices. I really appreciated that there wasn't a TV in the main living area. We spent most of our time outside watching the chipmunks and observing the deer that spent the sunny hours under the deck. The front "yard," was beautiful and fun to explore with its giant boulders. Even though the home is located in a rural neighborhood, it's close enough to Fort Collins and other recreation to not be too remote. It's the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience to services.
