Welcome to 'Northwoods Lodge' Located in the quiet north end of Sunriver. This warm and inviting home is ideal for extended families planning a family reunion or 2-3 families getting together to enjoy Sunriver. Northwoods Lodge is also a comfortable and creative environment for executive retreats. Spacious rooms can easily accommodate large or small groups. The home was built with quality construction using extensive pine and granite throughout the house. There are 5 bedrooms including 2 primary suites on the main floor and 3.5 bathrooms. Private outdoor hot tub with stone paved patio and outdoor furniture are all comforts of this home. We offer 12 unlimited passes to SHARC and Sunriver tennis courts. We offer a non-smoking and no pet home.

The host has thought of every extra amenity to help ensure guests are comfortable and attended to. The kitchen in particular is extremely well equipped. We had a 4 generation family gathering at the home and it worked perfectly for our group. We would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.

Best VRBO Stay Yet!

Three families stayed in this generously equipped property and were very comfortable! With kids ranging from 1.5 to 17, there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved that the home came with a portable crib and high chair. The largest bedroom downstairs has a large closet that the toddler slept in, which was perfect. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. We were blown away by the amount of storage in the kitchen for our food, which helped keep the counters clear. The double fridges were so helpful, and the vast array of kitchen equipment made cooking for a large group easy.They have a wide array of games including video games. The ping pong table was a lot of fun and we loved having so many bikes on hand. A favorite was the tandem bike! The grill and hot tub were wonderful! The home was in great condition and we felt very comfortable and at home. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Great Spot for a larger group!

Huge house with a cozy feeling. Nice kitchen for cooking, plenty of towels for all of our guests. And very clean! We had a great stay.

Family Getaway

We planned on this trip a while back, but this was a getaway we all needed. A perfect place to spend quality time with family. Time to laugh, play and create memories that will last a lifetime. Wonderful home

We had a great time at this house. Plenty of room for our three families with kids. We used the foosball and hot tub a lot, and the sharc passes were great. Location was great, and the house was well stocked with things like kitchen items and blankets. We came in the winter but it looks like it would be a great place for the summer as well!

Amazing

Bigger rooms than what we thought. There were 11 of us and plenty of room for all of us! Wonderful accommodations! Plenty of bikes for all sorts of family members. Basketball hoop, and ping pong table were well liked as well. We had an amazing time and celebrated a 40th Birthday as well!

Very nice house.

The house is very nice and very well stocked. We could find everything we need it, even more. Our kids enjoyed playing in the garage. The only thing that disappointed us was the fixtures above the dinning table. That fixtures was so dusty. The dust was falling on the food while eating. Even with that inconvenient, we do recommend this property. We would love to stay at this property in the future.

Great home for large family vacation

Our group was 6 adults and 4 children, ages 2 to 8. Northwoods Lodge was fantastic for all. The owners are very accommodating and really take care of all the little details, which helped us wisely pick this property to stay at. The adults loved the spacious home layout with large beds and a really well stocked kitchen. The kids loved the bunk beds and the hot tub. Everyone had a great time with the multitude of bikes, with everyone able to ride around the cul de sac. We also had fun throwing a football and shooting hoops. What a great area to use as a Oregon vacation base. SHARC passes were used for the aquatic center and also to get off our large island raft at the Sunriver marina. Big hits with the kids in the area were the SHARC center, the village, visiting Mt. Bachelor for some snow and esp the sled dog rides. Everyone enjoyed floating the river and a lot of us enjoyed our trip to Crater Lake and the wonderful Sunriver observatory. We flew into Portland to reduce airfare costs and had fun picking fruit in the Hood River area just past the Columbia Gorge. Mid 80s and very pleasant weather for the first week in July.

GREAT WEEK IN HIGH DESERT

Wonderful time with the grandchildren, 8,9 and 10 years old, some of there parents and my son who was home with time off. The house was very clean. It was easy for all of us to be comfortable inside. The beds worked out very well even for me who always brings my own mat to sleep on the floor because I am bed challenged. The outside spaces looked great. The hot tub was great but used only once. Unfortunately the smoke was thick during our stay. The only thing that we missed was a smart TV but did bring one ROKU which we used in the living area. We never felt crimped in the space. There were 8 of us there. We easily parked 3 cars without using the garage. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we looked for. I can't think of anything it did not have that might have been needed. There was an extra refrigerator in the garage to store extra perishables we had with us which kept the main kitchen refrigerator from being overcrowded. There were also many spices and other condiments in the pantry cabinets. The location at the north end of Sun River allowed us to enjoy the quiet, very dark cool nights for great sleep. At the North end of Sun River, you do not encounter all of the vehicle and bike traffic that is closer to the village closer to the village. It is only a short 2 1/2 mile easy bike ride to the village for the entertainment, food, stores and the Shark (which the kids loved and thanks for the passes). Ft Rock Park is very close as is the river. The North Store is an easy walk. The bicycles were wonderful to have available. It kept us from have to transport ours or renting several bikes. We all rode many times to the village, to the river and to Benham Falls. Sun River is a great places to bike with all of the trails and the patients to car drivers encountered at intersections. The kids were always riding around and around the cul de sac. It is an absolute great place to teach the kids to ride, read a map, look at road signs and give them freedom to be off on there own. I have been bringing my children to Sun River since 1969 when I was in college in the Willamette Valley. After moving back to Washington we have kept coming to Sun River. I can't think of a better place to be with children for a relaxing vacation. I have rented many condos, house and a full time townhouse rental for six years before the grandchildren. North Woods Lodge overall for location, size, kitchen, bikes is the best.

Fantastic Sunriver home for our 3 families

This was a fantastic home in Sunriver that was perfect for our annual family trip. The home has 5 great bedrooms with essentially 2 Master Suites on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms upstairs. The beds were comfortable and the house was super clean when we arrived. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and the bikes. The kitchen had everything we could need to enjoy our home-cooked meals. There was ample seating in the family room and the kids enjoyed the large bean bag in the corner. We would definitely stay here again!

Multi family weekend gathering

We played and ate, bicycled and swam. We made Mother’s Day memories. Money well spent bringing cousins, aunts and uncles closer together through shared experiences. The homes we rented were lovely places to provide the setting for our togetherness. Thank you.
