Lovely home

The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, lovely backyard and great deck for dining outdoors. It is in a lovely neighborhood, just a short walk to the harbor, restaurants, shopping, etc. It was perfect for our family of 4 adults!

Beautiful home. Beautiful stay.

The home wonderful. Very clean. And very well appointed with some very nice art and furnishings. Unlike most VRBOs we’ve stayed at. Perfectly situated within 5 minutes of a walk to downtown Camden. The master bed did have a window AC until which isn’t mentioned on the VRBO listing and also had a number of portable fans. The locals talked about the heatwave that was in the high 70s! :) great home. Great location.

Nice House

Nice house, this was booked through VACASA, which was a bit of a problem. On arrival, one of the french doors at rear was ajar and could not be locked. With no owner to call, i had to deal with the website VACASA, which took into the next day to get in touch with the local representative. He came by and spent half an hour fixing it. The house wasnt properly cleaned, there was dirty laundry in a pile in the laundry. There was laundry in the dryler. We couldnt have used it if we wanted to, without cleaning up somebody elses mess. The trash barrels were full to overflowing outside. On top of all that, we got a notice that we could check in 4 hours early if we wanted to, my point being that the cleaner had the time to do all this. (we didnt check in early) We had to go out an buy 3 desktop fans, one for each bedroom, the heat was unbearable. We left the fans there, hopefully you can use them. I understand the heat isnt normal in this area, but another reviewer had written the same thing too. Overall, this is a nice house in a great location, the management company seemed to be the problem. The owners should know about that.

One of the best vacation houses I’ve stayed in

Perfect location (quiet but right next to town center and perfect jumping off point in Maine), great house size for a family, carefully appointed and stylish home, clean and well maintained. We stayed for 2 weeks with a 4 yo and infant. I’ll have fond memories for a long time to come- the photos are very accurate and highly recommended.

Great Maine house

We stayed for a week with my toddler and various grandparents. The house is in a great location (less than 5 minute walk to town and the ocean). The house was clean, well stocked, and all around a win. Looking to book it again next year!

Perfect Location in Camden

House is located in center of a quiet street. 1/2 block from Main Street and a 5-12 minute walk from everything in Camden Downtown and Camden Harbor. House is 2 stories. Spacious Kitchen and Dinette, Living Room and Den on 1st floor. 3 Bedrooms and 2 Baths on 2nd floor. FYI: No Bathroom on 1st floor. Only A/C is window unit in Master Bedroom. The problem we had was that the TV did not work on arrival. After several calls to Vacasa Management, the local Vacasa rep installed new TV on 5th day. Connected HULU and we were able to get live TV stations for next 8 days. Then HULU stopped. Again phone calls. Finally after another 4 days we had HULU back and again live TV stations. So only live TV 12 out of 20 days. Everything considered, we would rent this house again. You won't find a better pet-friendly location in Camden!

Beautiful and comfortable house

We loved our stay in Camden. The house is so well cared for. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The location is perfect - walking distance to downtown so you don’t need to park but still on a quiet street. We loved the games that were available and the wide selection of books. And the beds were very comfortable. I would certainly stay there again!

Our stay in Camden was fantastic!

Lovely home and property! The location is IDEAL. Everything was clean. We loved having the croquet set to play with outdoors. We didn't get to use the kitchen so can't comment on that. The only downfall was that the hot water heater didn't keep the water warm with 4 people showering back to back. Besides that, everything was absolutely lovely about this rental and I would recommend it to anyone, including family and friends. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

GREAT LOCATION BUT DIRTY

The location of this home can't be beat if you want to be in Camden. It's a block from downtown! Unfortunately the property managers are a drawback. No instructions on gaining access, or a final exit and it was pretty dirty including very old coffee in the pot and previous guests dirty laundry.

Six of us rented this home for a 4-day stay. It was just about perfect! The location was great, check-in was very easy, parking was available, and all of the amenities were perfect! The only thing for other people to consider is that there are no wash rooms or bathrooms on the main level and all bedrooms are upstairs. It could be difficult for those who struggle with stairs. However, we would certainly rent this again if we were to come back to Camden.

I hate to leave a great review for fear we would never get to rent this place again, but that would be an injustice. This home was a 5/5 for us. It is beautifully furnished and the location is perfect for walking into the downtown area. I would definitely rent again and for a longer period than we did on this visit. The only problem we had was a lack of technology. The password for the internet did not work but we eventually got that corrected. Also my non-techie husband could not figure out how to get regular channels on the TV. Just as well I thought since we both had good books to read. I would love to thank the owners for allowing us to bring Winston, our King Charles cavalier spaniel into their home. I loved the doggie items as you walked into the house. This is a very lovingly cared for home and you are made to feel comfortable the moment you walk in.
