Bird of Paradise, see the # of 5-stars-Just steps from Beach

NEW Sky blue leather fully reclining sofas, plus an individual recliner in the Living Room, especially for 'down time' in the evenings.
 Four King bedrooms, plus a Bunk Room that sleeps 11. 



There is plenty of gathering space and the Dining Area hosts seating for 10 at the table, with 4 barstools and in the Living area for another 4 dining spaces.  There is a total of 18 comfortable seated dining spaces at one time.

On the first floor there is one King bedroom with NEW walk-in shower, especially for the "head of the house".  Second floor has three King bedrooms beautiful views of gulf and  on the third floor, one finds a very special bedroom that sleeps 11 with TWO TVs
 This luxury home has parking for 5 cars, plus one more in the garage.
Step out the back door to the private pool, which can be heated if desired.  There are two other pools on property and the North Pool has a hot tub.

The eleven in our family - grandparents, parents, children - enjoyed this spacious house with enough bedrooms and bathrooms. The second floor balcony was nice for morning coffee, the den plenty big and comfortable for family entertainment, and the dining table big enough for all of us to be together. Our host was responsive to every question and need prior to and during our stay. The short walk to the private beach, chairs and umbrellas available, beautiful aqua water and white sand really did make us think that for a few days - not enough days - we were in paradise.

STOP looking, you found it! This place is perfect for your group. Big kitchen for the nights staying in to cook. Plenty of beds Plenty of space to spread out. Large balcony for morning coffee.Plenty of parking Pool was heated for us on arrival (mid March). Steps to the beach—-beach service included!Basketball, pickleball, tennis courts. Owner was VERY responsive and quick to respond via text. Is in a private gated community, mostly families very quiet, laid back and we were there during Spring Break. The beach is gated and private as well!Would definitely stay again!

We snowbird for the month of January 2026 with 1 couple and had guest periodically stay for a long weekend or for a week Kitchen area and living room was large and there was plenty of space. We had two maintenance issues near the end of our stay, but Jeffry called her handyman and the issues were fixed promptly. Jeffry was great to work with and communication was easy.

This house is perfect for a large group! We have two families with grown children, and slept all 12 of us very comfortably. The kitchen has all of the necessities and Jeffry was very helpful with the extra things we needed. There are chairs and a wagon for the beach, which was also very helpful! This was our second stay at The Bird and we will be back!

Beautiful Break

We stayed at Bird of Paradise with 3 other families. The house was perfect for a group, the kitchen is fully stocked for easy meals and the beach and pickle ball were perfect ;)

We had a very nice week in Paradise! Our host was very communicative and I appreciated that they could be contacted at anytime for anything during our stay. The location is perfect, a short walk to the beach and ocean view. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals during the week and has two refrigerators, so we used one just for beverages, and the pool was so nice to have on some of the hot days and returning from the beach. It is a large home, with superior mattresses, and being only a family of four staying in the home, everyone had their own space to relax.

Best No Worry Stay Ever

The Bird was the best no worry vacay our famiy has ever had. The host, Jeffry, was also very kind and quick to respond to any question I had. The property was extensively stocked and even had pickle ball paddles for play, something my teens were super excited over. We will definitely consider this property for future family vacays.

The property was beautiful. It is close to the beach and within walking distance of a few restaurants and an icecream shop. Very family friendly.

We are a 'divided' household with one from 'Ole Miss' and one from 'Mississippi State'. Both of us started coming to Destin for vacations when we were just kids and NOW in our next 'kid' life, we spend about 50% of our time either fishing or 'beaching' in Destin.

Why they chose this property

Location! Location! Location! That describes Bird of Paradise perfectly. Bird of Paradise is right in the middle of the activity of Miramar Beach in South Walton County....It is close to Great Shopping , Restaurants and Entertainment at Destin Commons. We also bought into Bird of Paradise because of the quality of construction and the size of the Home (nearly 3500 Sq Ft,. Since our family likes to cook, we thought that the size of the kitchen allowed for family gathering in planning and executing the preparation of meals. Also, in the evening after 'beaching' all day, it is nice to jump in Bird's private pool and relax. The kids can be enjoying the pool, while the guys grill out by the pool, or Mom is inside getting dinner ready, just a few steps away. Something for everyone at Bird of Paradise.

What makes this property unique

Maravilla is a community that keeps it''s property up to exacting Standards, with up to date amenities including 2 community pools, one heated , a modern fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, basket ball goal and shuffleboard. All of this not to mention the use of approximately 6 acres of beach less than a 3 minute walk from the front door. The Board of Directors at Maravilla do allow golf carts to be rented in this community.
