About this property

The Rosie Knight Ranch is nestled among cedars and pine trees on 17 acres on the southern slope of Grand Mesa with access to fishing, hiking, downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ATVs, and horseback riding. We are within a 2-hour drive of Glenwood Springs, Telluride, Ouray, Ridgway, the Black Canyon National Park, and the Utah border.
The residence is a spacious 1100 sq. ft., fully furnished apartment separate from the main house and up a flight of stairs. We have great WIFI, Internet TV, and Amazon Alexa. Good cell phone service. The apartment has Refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, and washer and dryer. Central heat and Evaporative cooler for summer months. There is lots of wildlife on the property elk, deer, raptors, fox, coyote, turkeys. We have 2 dogs The area is rich in fruit orchards, and wineries. The balcony features a stunning view of the Grand Mesa and stars at night. Very quiet area. Inquire about seasonal special rates for longer stays!

Pleasant stay

We enjoyed our stay. The property was perfectly clean and exactly as described, and check-in and checkout were smooth and easy. David welcomed us and showed us around the space, which was very nice. It was wonderfully quiet at night. The only complaint is that the mattresses and couch seemed old and weren't very supportive.

Clean and generously appointed

We enjoyed our stay at Dave and Christine's. They cover all of the fundamentals needed for a great stay, at an extremely reasonable cost. Things like coffee, body lotion, sugar and cooking oil are far more practical and appreciated by us than designer furnishings. We didn't use any of the digital entertainment provided but there are many options. Internet was fast and reliable. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

Motorcycle Trip

This property was great! Incredible view of the valley and the Grand Mesa. The sunset was beautiful. You take stairs to a one bedroom house. Inside was clean and very livable. Queen bed in the bedroom, king bed was in the main room along with couch, tv, kitchen, dining area so. It much privacy do the person on the king bed. Bathroom was large and shower worked great. The driveway leading up to the house was hard dirt but the parking area next to the unit is gravel so beware if riding a motorcycle. Not bad to ride on but did have some deep spots that could tip your bike. Was perfect for our three days of riding around cederedge and grand Mesa
