About the host
Hosted by Paula Kenny
Paula and I , John purchased the property on a very busy road. Route 5&20 in 1989. We always saw the potential of our property being wonderful place to get outside , on the water and around the campfire. We have been hosting for 16 years.
The first thing we built was a home, and from there we saw a unique opportunity to share the experience living on a boat We give our guests a chance to stay aboard. The boats don't go anywhere but you will truly be floating.
We developed our pond area by creating a GLAMPING tent area, in the woods. We added a 24 foot camper to the other side of the pond and have folks share a really unique bathhouse.
We were one of the first properties to feature a YURT. This blend between a tent and a cabin is roomy comfortable and has all the comforts of home.
We are proud Grand parents of 10 , and have 5 wonderful Great Grand Children.

Why they chose this property
We are 45 minutes from three major areas " Rochester, Syracuse and Ithaca ". In that Triangle there are well over 150 wineries, festivals every week and some of the most beautiful farm land in the country. Our guests are treated to a long list of activities.
What makes this property unique
We think our willingness to offer our human powered equipment at no cost if you stay with us, is truly unique. This is a commitment to getting people outside, on the water and
at the same time providing healthy comfortable accommodations.
