About this property

5 Bedroom Riverfront Antique Home

The house was built in 1803. It has been completely renovated with 5 big bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a wonderful porch overlooking the Sheepscott River, a dock for launching your Kayak and a kitchen with a table big enough for 12. The kitchen allows for groups to cook together. There is also a second, small kitchen off one of the bedrooms. The property has a small pond where ducks and other wildlife spend the early mornings. You are only minutes from WIscasset, a 20 minute ride from Boothbay Harbor, and a quick walk to the Fort Eddy overlooking Wiscasset. It is a perfect place for large families to gather and enjoy the Maine way of life. We do not allow pets or parties.

Great place
Very clean. Great views. One bed too high to get into. Electric box top floor not safely covered to prevent children from harm. Some windows missing screens. Quiet neighborhood. Main concern is that no one at any time ever communicated the actual location of the residence. We had to figure it out. It certainly would be helpful to know where you are staying. Otherwise great experience.

Beautiful and historic!
Spent a lovely week in this historic gem of a house! The photos simply do not do it justice! Both the house and property are meticulously kept and you can really tell the owners put their heart and hardwork into it! My family took advantage of everything the house had to offer, from the perfect location to the dock from which we fished and huge backyard where my son could play soccer for hours, to the grill which was put through its paces every night. Would not hesitate to come back and spend every evening sitting on the deck watching the stars.

We are a school teacher and environmental consultant. This home is our dream home on the water. We want to share the waterfront property with guests enjoying the coast of Maine.

Why they chose this property

We love Maine and its rocky shoreline. We are boaters and having a dock on the water is a dream come true. Bring your boat or kayak if you wish and enjoy life on the river.

What makes this property unique

Sit on the front porch and watch the lobster boats pull their traps right in front of you, or watch for seals who pop their heads up right off shore.
