Very clean, comfortable, and beautifully situated. The kitchen was generously equipped, and the home provided every essential for an easy stay, including ample towels and quality linens. What really makes this property special is the setting—it offers gorgeous views and feels pleasantly quiet and remote without neighbor noise, yet downtown is easily accessible. The home was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We found time to just relax on the back deck with a beverage while enjoying the breeze through the trees as we gazed out onto the lovely little cove. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and all the gadgets you might need, and the pantry was very well supplied. Rebecca was very responsive to all communications. We were also able to take walks to the end of Capitol Island and take in the sea breeze. The home is also conveniently located with a short drive to Boothbay Harbor and the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Highly recommend staying here!

A beautiful home with a gorgeous water view

A beautiful spot and a convenient location to Boothbay Harbor. We had a lovely weekend staying at this beautiful home to attend a wedding nearby. A fairly private location in a neighborhood setting which was perfect for us with a dog. If we ever come this way again, we would love to stay here again.

We cannot say enough good things about this property and its owners! Not only is it close to so many great things, but it is a respite in and of itself. Beautiful location and home. The house was spotless when we arrived. Loved the deck, the photos don’t do it justice, as there were lovely flowers and plants as well as seating and a table. Loved the view in the cove, peaceful and so pretty. There may not be central AC (you usually don’t need it in Maine), but the host was very thoughtful to put a large unit in for the very hot weather, it was there when we arrived. She was also very generous with what was shared in the home, and we had use of wonderful kitchen appliances. There are Alexa units throughout, which meant we could play music just about anywhere in the house. One note when thinking about sleeping arrangements for guests: the office is off the master bedroom, so there isn’t privacy for the master if you plan on a guest sleeping there. Otherwise, you have the entire top floor to yourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be lucky to stay there again.

This house does not disappoint. We had a comfortable stay and greatly enjoyed this house. We were close to downtown Boothbay and the Gardens Aglow. This property is waterfront.

Lovely location right on a quiet cove on Southport Island. House was well equipped and the grounds were shady. The kitchen especially was well equipped with plenty of pans, dishes, and a gas range with 4 eyes plus a griddle. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for relaxing both inside and outside. Highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect!

Such a cute, new cabin-in-the-woods like feel but right on a salt water bay. The view of the water is so serene, and the home is very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen has everything you might need to make dinner. Our family loved Southport Island! We went for walks and a enjoyed just driving around and admiring the costal towns around. Definitely would stay again!

Relaxing getaway

Beautiful new home with a water view, the deck was a perfect place to sit and have morning coffee or evening drinks. Well equipped kitchen for when we wanted to stay in and cook but close enough to restaurants and bars for when we wanted to go out. Great parks with walking trails were 20-30 minutes away. We absolutely loved our stay in Maine! The home is in a fantastic location—perfect for relaxing on the deck and taking in the beautiful view. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy nights in. For anyone needing to work a bit while away, the dedicated office off the upstairs master bedroom is a great setup. Tucked just off the main road, the house offers a peaceful retreat from the busier tourist areas, yet it's only a short drive to Boothbay Harbor. Awesome, tranquil cove water front location

Beautiful cove front property nestled amongst pine trees. We breathed in wonderfully clean air while enjoying our dailey morning coffee on the waterfront deck. The location was perfect for enjoying the serenity of the area while being a short 1 to 4 mile drive to great restaurants for lobster rolls and other local seafood. Property was very clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were very kind and responsive. We will definitely come back!

Relaxing vacation spot

We loved our Southport vacation. Cedar Cove is updated and very clean inside. It has a beautiful view of the water from the deck but no direct access to the water from the property, though there is water access about 5-10 minute walk down the road. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of space for our group of 4 adults, 3 teens and a dog. The kitchen Hassan everything we needed. It’s a quick drive to Boothbay harbor and there’s a very cute mini market on the island less than 5 minutes drive away.
