Welcome to Hale Makai, our luxury beach home located on the beautiful and sunny west side of Kaua'i. We offer a host of amenities and a picturesque location for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation experience.

Take your pick of comfortable seating in the spacious living room, on the screened lanai or on the deck in the front yard - all perfect for lounging, enjoying a good book or soaking up the island vibes. Hale Makai features two spacious bedrooms. The primary suite boasts a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The other bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and ample storage space. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.

Pictures on the Vrbo app do not do justice to how beautiful this house is! The house was super clean, lots of open space, the kitchen stocked full of utensils for cooking, and the air conditioning worked great. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms being separated in the house for extra privacy, a small but great feature when you have 2 couples and people waking and sleeping at separate times. Mattress was super comfortable. Showers had plenty of hot water. The lanai was pleasant early in the cooler mornings. We didn't use the hot tub, as we visited Salt Pond Beach most days. All in all, Liz and Chad were great hosts and the experience exceeded our expectations! We would definitely love to stay here again!

We COMPLETELY enjoyed our stay at Hale Makai! The home was very comfortable - just as advertised! It was quiet with lovely decor and a beautiful yard and lanai. The hot tub under the stars and moon was delightful! We had everything we needed and loved coming back to the house after a day of exploring and watching the beautiful sunsets at Kekaha Beach. Even though it is located in the far west, we found it very convenient for all of our adventures. It was easy to get to anywhere from Kekaha. We go to meet one of the hosts, Chad and he gave us a ton of great tips for exploring and food. We highly recommend Hale Makai!
