Overall, we had a good stay. The location is excellent—it’s very close to Cedar Point, and the view from the property was beautiful. The hosts were also very communicative throughout our stay and even allowed us to check in about 20 minutes early, which we really appreciated.There were a few things that could be improved. The pull-out bed was extremely uncomfortable and would be difficult for anyone to sleep on for more than a night. We were also only provided one towel per guest for the entire stay. It would be much more convenient if each guest had at least two towels, especially since many guests with long hair need a separate towel.The biggest concern was receiving a message asking guests not to sleep directly on the pillow shams or comforter. This gave us the impression that those items may not be washed between every stay, which made us uncomfortable. Because of that, we removed the comforter and pillow shams from the bed and slept with only the thin blankets that were provided, which wasn’t the most comfortable sleeping experience.Overall, the property has a fantastic location and great views, and the hosts were responsive and accommodating. With a few improvements to the bedding, towels, and sleeping arrangements, this would be an even better place to stay.

Hi Gabrielle! Thank you for your review. We wish you had reached out to us regarding the number of towels you needed for your stay, as we would have gladly provided more upon request. We do, in fact, wash the pillow shams and comforters after each stay. We ask guests not to sleep on these white items in order to avoid makeup and other stains. It helps with wear and tear if guests don’t sleep directly on our decorative items. We are sorry you found the sofa bed to be uncomfortable. We have had other guests remark that it is very comfortable, but every person’s preferences are different. We appreciate the feedback and the opportunity to host you!

We had a wonderful experience! This unit had the perfect location, an amazing view, and was clean and beautiful inside. The hosts were fabulous to deal with. The gym was a plus for us and our kids loved the pool (our 14 y/o loved the hot tub). We traveled for sports, so when we got back to the room there was enough to keep us busy in our downtime. It’s also close to cedar point!!! When we come back to Sandusky, we will be looking to book here again.

This was a great two night place to stay. The host is very nice and goes above and beyond with this rental! Very clean, nicely furnished, beautiful view especially at night! The host gave us a synopsis of what bars and restaurants are nearby. We will definitely stay at this unit again! Pool was very nice on a beautiful sunny day! Every thing was a 5 star experience!

We enjoyed ourselves at the Chesapeake’s Lofts. The hosts were very informative, check in and check out was very easy. Condo was very clean and well stocked with supplies needed. The view was great, plenty to do within walking distance.

The condo was exactly as listed and reviewed. Charming, clean and efficient with a great view. Although the inclement weather kept us from walking, the location is convenient to shops, restaurants and a pier (right outside the window). The hosts were great and very engaged! The condo is immaculate and is stocked with everything you could want or need including fire extinguisher and medical kit. This host has thought of everything. Located right on the water with a view of the lake and Cedar Point. Clear and easy instructions for both check in and check out and responds immediately to any questions or inquiries. Provides detailed information and suggestions for what to see and places to go to enjoy your stay in the city and is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown restaurants and entertainment. Would highly recommend this condo for your stay in Sandusky!

The condo is beautiful! Cozy with gorgeous views of the lake. Location is conveniently close to the historic district, in a walkable part of town. Check in and check out process was smooth and clear. So So CLEAN!!!!

As soon as you open the door, the crisp fresh air smells so good and Clean!!!! The unit was absolutely spotless and so clean with AMAZING views of lake erie and cedar point. The host was amazing and gave us ideas of things to do. The jet express and Goodtime are right out your balcony. This is Definitely a 10 star place. Great gated security on premises as well.
