Luxury 6 bedroom villa on the Royal Westmoreland Golf Resort, sleeps up to 14
Unique custom built luxury villa located on an elevated position on the 13th hole of the Royal Westmoreland championship golf course. This grand and spacious house which is featured in adverts for the resort itself is set in lush tropical gardens and boasts stunning views across the golf course to the turquoise blue of the Caribbean Sea. From the imposing entrance hall, step down into an immaculately finished open plan lounge and kitchen which opens out onto a large covered terrace which provides the perfect location for sunset cocktails.
The main house has 5 double bedrooms each with en suite bathroom and verandas with panoramic sea views. Adjacent to the main house, the guest cottage has a further sixth double bedroom and a quality sofa bed in the cottage lounge can convert the room to bedroom 7 if necessary. All bedrooms have fans and air conditioning.
Guests can relax in the tranquillity of our palm fringed pool terraces which wrap around a luxurious infinity edge pool and jacuzzi. The impressive outdoor dining and bar area which includes a large outdoor cooking and barbecue area is perfect for family gatherings.
The main house has a state of the art multi room audio system with wall pad controls plus Wifi as well as a dedicated media area with cable TV and DVD player.
There is a fully equipped games room on ground floor of the cottage which contains a pool table ,table tennis, air hockey, table football and a play station .
Guests have complimentary use of house golf buggy to get around the resort.
The house is provided fully staffed with a dedicated housekeeper butler and chef to provide our guests with a truly luxurious experience.

**Exceptional villa, exceptional staff – perfect for a large group**14 of us (8 adults, 6 kids) over the holidays. House handled our group with room to spare—5 bedrooms in the main house plus a separate guest cottage.The staff made the trip. Andre (butler/manager), Jonathan (chef), Margaret and June (housekeepers) were outstanding. Two meals a day, house always spotless, every request handled before we finished asking.We used all the Royal Westmoreland amenities—golf, tennis lessons, gym. Well-maintained resort, friendly clubhouse staff.Dean (owner) was responsive and helpful throughout the booking process.One note: Mullins Beach is great (full service, loungers, food) but it's a 10-minute drive, not walking distance. We had a rental car so no issue, but worth knowing.Would absolutely return.

Barbados Paradise

This was the next level for vacationing. The chef was fabulous, we had some of the best seasoned food we have ever had. Everything was always on time. Sometimes we needed separate times for breakfast when we had early tee times, which was no problem. The butler was professional and knowledgeable about the island. The housekeeper did a great job of looking after our group of 8, even after some late nights. I highly recommend this property.

Westerings is amazing

The Westerings is an amazing place with an amazing staff and amenities. The professionalism from time of booking throughout our stay is untouched. The grounds and pool are beautiful. Jadee, Jonathan and Margrett catered to our every need from making sure we the house was in top notch conditions, preparing drinks, handling tranfers, arranging for nail tech and massages, preparing excellent cresh meals. I was there for my 50th. Birthday with 13 others. Westerings was very comfortable and spacious. Ive traveled the world and this has been one of my best experiences. Im haopy and blessdd to have spent my 50th at the Westerings . Thanks to the entire Team! Dean, the onwer was great in communication and Tony was excellent as well for e suring our stay went well. Can't wait to return.

Awesome Barbados Holiday

This property was as described and we enjoyed it immensely. We are a group of 10 Adults ranging from 32 to 78 years and 3 kids ranging from 10 months to 7 years. Everyone was more than delighted with the property and the staff. Having a chef available was a game changer and we will not vacation without this option ever again. The House Butler/Concierge took care of everything for us and nothing was too small for him to handle. From taxi organization, rental cars, suggestions etc. When cars were not available from rental agencies on island due to Cropover holiday he contacted an old friend and got one for us! The housekeepers were the best - from keeping us tidy to doing laundry (unasked) It was like magic that clean clothes appeared daily(especially for the families)! The property is lovely, from pool to living areas as well as outdoor dining. The golf cart was a huge hit for the kids. The only drawback was the shuttle times to the beach - not dictated by the owner but by the Westmoreland Group. We found that our schedule did not fit theirs and as a result our rental car came in handy! I would suggest to add photos of the game room and upstairs of the cottage. Two of our adult guests stayed there and were quite happy with it. It was quite close to the house. We would definitely book again if we are back in Barbados.

Beautiful Villa, great location, top draw facilities, highly recommended.

We rented the villa to celebrate a 50th Birthday with friends and family, the Villa is brilliantly equipped, the staff provided did a first class job, nothing was too much trouble, the resort is in top condition, the golf course is immaculate, the beach is 5 mins away and stunning. Fantastic beach clubs and restaurants. We had 14 people at some points in the Villa and still had plenty of room.

Westerings is perfection

14 adult family members gathered for a week . The villa has so much space the place never felt crowded . Junior the butler Tony the chef and Margaret and Janelle are just wonderful and made our stay unforgettable . Junior is such a professional and his attentive service , organisation skills and attention to detail is admirable . Tony the chef served breakfasts and an evening meal daily . The food was varied and high quality . Margaret and Janelle kept the villa in tip top shape every day . Clean clothes , clean sheets , clean everywhere !! The villa is just stunning , the setting incredible the outdoor area and soft seating are luxurious . The golf buggy was used frequently to ferry us back and forth to the well equipt gym. Gentle run or power walks will take you 20 mins each way if you're feeling energetic . We will certainly be staying again next year . Perfect holiday home with first class service

We stayed at the Westerings in mid November 2015 and would describe the entire experience as first-class. The property itself is amazing both in terms of location and layout and it was very comfortable for our group of 9 adults. The main house has great facilities with 5 large bedrooms and the adjacent cottage offers more accommodation so we were able to spread out and never felt cramped. The quality of finish in the house is excellent but the best features are found outside with a relaxing terrace, large swimming pool and wonderful barbeque area complete with dining table. The on-site team (Junior, Margaret, Cynthia and Tony ‘the chef’) were excellent, taking care of every request and making sure we were able to relax throughout our stay. Likewise, the extended ‘team' (Tony and the owners, Dean and Deborah) checked in on a regular basis to make sure we had everything we needed. With 7 golfers in the group Royal Westmoreland was perfect and is well placed for the West Coast beaches and restaurants. Overall 10/10 rating and roll on next year so we can go back and do it all again!

Superb vacation home in paradise!

The Westerings is a first-class affair throughout on wonderful Barbados - best described as a relatively small island with great weather and kind people. We had a large family gathering over the New Years holiday with 8 children and 6 adults (and other 8 adults staying at another house in the same Royal Westmoreland resort.) The house itself is huge and well stocked and since a number of kids slept in the same room, we ended up not even needing to use the extra cottage on the property. We could have easily had another 2-4 adults stay with us. The pool and other amenities on the property (game room, outdoor kitchen and huge dining table, wine fridge, built in sound system, golf cart, etc.) are fantastic and each bedroom is large with en-suite bathrooms. The Royal Westmoreland resort is easy to navigate with great tennis and golf as well as work out facilities. However, the best part of it all was the wonderful staff who took care of every need from grocery shopping to cooking incredible meals to doing laundry, to mixing up Rum Punch for us all to enjoy. The owners Dean and Debbie also began helping us with planning months in advance and truly cared about our enjoyment of their property. I can not recommend The Westerings or Barbados more highly. We hope to be back in the future!

Our house is a custom built property designed by leading architects Gillespie and Steele. The brief for the architect was to create a spacious family retreat where we could enjoy the magic of Barbados with our family and friends.

What makes this property unique

The house sits on an elevated position overlooking the golf course with stunning views out to the Caribbean sea. Its West facing elevation offers the perfect position to take in the sun setting into the sea. We chose the Royal Westmoreland as it offered great sports facilities, a private beach club, the security afforded to it as a gated community and a tried and tested formulae of support services to look after our every need while we are on island
