About this property

Completely renovated and air-conditioned house, not overlooked, of 120 m2 located in the medieval village of Largentière. All shops (bakery, bars, restaurants, butcher, shops, tobacco, bank, crossroads market etc ...) and medical center, pharmacy are within walking distance. House ideally to share with friends or family with its 4 bedrooms (including 2 parental suites).
A beautiful sunny terrace with garden furniture and Weber barbecue awaits you.
On the ground floor, you will find a large fully equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, washing machine, dishwasher, hob, oven, etc.) with access to the sunny terrace as well as a dining room.
Upstairs a comfortable lounge awaits you: sofa bed, armchairs, DVD player, stereo, books, board games, children's games also await you, separate toilet on this level as well.
The sleeping arrangements are organized by level:
A first landing (River landing) is composed of a parental suite (garden side) with shower room and adjoining toilet and a second bedroom (view of the church) composed of three sleeping places.
The second landing (Champs landing) composed of its parental suite (view of the church tower) with private bathroom, an independent toilet on the landing, and a second bedroom (garden side) composed of '' a 140 bed and a single bed.

Our house awaits you in any season, summer (many swimming spots, fishing, Orgnac cave, Chauvet cave, farm, night markets, medieval events, Païolives wood, Pont d'Arc, museums, etc.), spring (in our mountains ardéchoises, spa town of Vals les Bains…), winter (Croix de Bauzon station 60 km) and in Autumn (mushroom picking, chestnuts, forest walks, natural sites…).

Medieval castle with entertainment, Gothic church, Provencal and night market 2 steps away.

Great hiking start (GR) 20 meters from the house.

Vive Largentière

Séjour d'une semaine à Largentière, village médiéval historique avec de nonbreuses animation...visites du château, exposition gratuite dans l'ancien tribunal néo classique, marchés matinal et nocturne....parc aquatique isla cool douce, centre équestre à Tauriers, descente de l'ardeche en canoë....des personnes extrêmement acceuillantes! Un séjour très authentique !

Quelques améliorations nécessaires et indispensables

Il est des escales dont on se souviendra plus que d’autres. Nous nous souviendrons certes de l’escale ardéchoise, mais hélas pas forcément avec l’envie d’y revenir. Non pas parce que notre séjour y fût horrible, mais parce que la vie au quotidien, même en vacances, nécessite selon nous quelques basiques qui faisaient cruellement défaut lors de notre passage en août 2020. Ainsi, il nous a semblé étonnant et incompréhensible de ne pas trouver en cuisine la vaisselle nécessaire minimale : pas de couteau de cuisine, aucune casserole, pas de plat à tarte, pas de maniques pour sortir un plat du four… De même, pas de pince à linge pour l’étendoir. Rien de tout cela ne nous paraît superflu et c’est la 1re fois que nous étions confrontés à un tel manque, alors que nous louons pourtant très régulièrement des maisons de vacances. Enfin, la location est présentée pour pouvoir accueillir 10 personnes. S’il est vrai que 10 couchages sont disponibles, il faut souligner que la maison n’est clairement pas équipée actuellement pour la vie quotidienne de 10 personnes : outre la vaisselle manquante (assiettes et couverts), aucune table ne peut accueillir tous les convives en même temps, au même titre que la machine à laver ne pourra suffire à gérer le linge d’autant de personnes. C’est dommage ! D’autres détails nous ont gênés : la climatisation qui goutte dans 2 pièces et qu’il faut éponger, le grille-pain qui fait sauter les plombs au premier petit-déjeuner et les ongles trouvés par terre dans l’une des chambres.

Court séjour de 2 nuits à 10 personnes

Beau gîte, très propre et rénové récemment avec goût. C'est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas eu un ou deux torchons de cuisine ( nous avions louer draps et serviettes de toilettes) pour s'essuyer les mains dans la cuisine et au moins un rouleau de papier toilette pour le premier jour (soir) d'arrivée.
