The accommodation

Casa da Nora is in a small farm with 5000 m2 , with a cistern for rainwater recovery and a water well with a "nora" which is the device to take the water from the well .
The excellent recovery of an old house , where the taste and respect for tradition were allied, originated this 'corner ' full of comfort and convenience.
The house consists of two bedrooms ( both with double beds and air conditioning ), two fully equipped bathrooms (one of them outside in the pool area ), lounge with TV, sound system , “salamandra” to warm up the living room on the cold days of winter and a mezzanine with a double bed .
Cozy dining area, fully equipped kitchen with: stove, refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher , microwave , coffee maker and toaster .
Outside there is a swimming pool 8x4 meters, surrounded by lawn and deck with chairs and loungers ready to relax!

The surroundings
Casa da Nora is located in the “barrocal” of Algarve, between orange groves and hills, about 4 km from Silves, the old capital of the Algarve .
It is the heart of this community, heir to a unique natural, architectural and culinary heritage , born this tourism project which aims to reconstruct a set of typical Portuguese houses, turning them into quality tourist accommodation but preserving its character and originalaty .

Activities
The invigorating walks through ancient footpaths , bike rides through the hills and valleys , the observation of storks and other birds or simple tasting of regional sweets, in absolute tranquillity and beauty environment, will for sure make this an unforgettable experience .
