We rented property as a Labor Day getaway, and the appeal of the photos attracted us to the home for our family. On our way to the property we received a message from the owner to let us know that a they have family was living in a back building on the property, something that was not detailed in any description, and something that would have been a deal breaker for us prior to booking. As we drove up to the home, at first, we thought that we had the wrong location, but upon realizing that we had truly arrived at the home we immediately felt as though we had been duped. The interior was spotless, with updated bathrooms, nice furniture, and a very nice layout. The home was well appointed with everything that you would need for a nice family getaway. We called the property owner to inquire about what was going on and she then told us that not only did she have one, but three relatives living on the property. She also let us know that the home is used as a staging area for her business and her employees used her lawn as a parking lot...If we did not live six and a half hours away with three kids and a dog in tow, we would have left then and there.
Throughout the first night people seemed to come and go from the property at will, with many hanging out in their cars, and lots of activity throughout the night. On our first night we counted FIFTEEN cars arriving and leaving the property with multiple people walking through the backyard and by the master bedroom window to get to the apartment in the back of the home. We appreciated that the home was pet friendly and had a lar
