About this property

Trail Ridge View is a beautiful big log home offering all the creature comforts you could ask for. Enjoy curling up in front of the fireplace while watching a movie on the large HD TV in the living room. If you are looking for romance, Trail Ridge View has it. The master bedroom offers a beautiful stone fireplace and house length deck. This gorgeous lodge style home is perched on a well landscaped ridge offering privacy in a pristine neighborhood. Amenities at this home include Central Heat/AC, Cable HD TV, WiFi, and a Gas Log Fireplace.
Less than a 30 minute drive to the heart of Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Area, Tony’s Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (historic motorcycle, as featured on History Channels “American Pickers”), horseback riding and golfing. In about 20 minutes, you could be in Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street in Waynesville and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
This log home is about a 40 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Smoky Mountain National Park, and the Harrah's Casino in Cherokee (even if you do not gamble it has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday).
A about 35 minutes away, you’ll arrive in Asheville at the Biltmore Estates & Winery, several micro-breweries, and 1 hour and 15 minutes away is Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops.
Approximately, 40 minutes away heading south to Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more in the surrounding areas. You are just under 1 hour 15 minutes to Gatlinburg, TN and Pigeon Forge (home of Dollywood).
The approach to this vacation rental is on a short, slightly steep paved road. We advise during the Fall and Winter Season (more specifically during inclement weather) guests use an all-wheel drive or 4 wheel drive for accessibility.
