The Downtowner was the perfect location to explore Marfa. Within walking distance to everything, including the Marfa Lights Festival going on that weekend. The place was clean and perfectly sized for a couple. We especially enjoyed the steam shower! Would definitely stay here again!

The Downtowner was a wonderful place to stay. It is walking distance to so many things you may want to do in Marfa. The home itself is cozy and has all the modern conveniences.

This property was even better than expected! The location was central and extremely walkable. The home was exactly as described, the bed was super comfortable, and the steam shower was an absolute dream. We loved it so much we wanted to extend our stay, and we’re already planning our next trip back. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Marfa!

We had an amazing 2-night stay here while in town for a music event. The location could not have been better. We were pleasantly surprised by how much was within walking distance, especially the music venue itself. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Again it was so convenient having a cozy spot to come back to and reset after small bouts of exploring the area.Check-in was super easy. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay and enjoyed the location and the lodging. Our reservation was cancelled a few weeks before arriving at the Paisano due to remodeling issues. We found this place and are extremely happy that we did! Wonderful little bungalow, very clean, nice atmosphere, nice porch on the north side of the building, and a very convenient location. Nice shower, bathroom, living area, kitchen and the king size bed was very comfy! Oh, and dog friendly with a very reasonable pet fee...better than the 40/night per pet at the Paisano. Nice little grass area in front of the porch for Dolly to relax and roll on. Conveniences not available at the Paisano such as ground floor access and close proximity to our vehicle as we could park out front on the street. Made it a cinch to load and unload the vehicle. We are out in Marfa a few times a year. Glad we found this place and will definitely return again!

This is our third time staying at the Downtowner and it won’t be our last! It is centrally located to everything in Marfa and easily within walking distance of the best restaurants and shopping! The house has everything you could possibly need and more!

The kitchen had everything I needed, so did the bathroom. This was a very comfortable stay for me and when I come back to Marfa, I want to stay again. Wonderful gift shops nearby and plenty of places to eat.

This property had a high-end touch to everything about it. Quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The steam shower was amazing. The host made herself available at any time to answer any questions, but because everything was well laid out, there weren’t many.

Check in was easy with goo communication. The place was well stocked and accommodations lovely and so conveniently located. Only issue was people using The Texan had a dog that barked the entire time we wanted to use the front porch. Front porch was lovely, incessant barking was not.

The location is so convent. All the great restaurants and cafes are less than a 5 minute walk. Steam shower is perfect for the dry weather in Marfa.
