Exceeded Our Expectations!! What a Great Place
First time we rented on the lake side of Big Bear Blvd. Your place had such a great vibe with that rustic, cabin-like feeling. Very quiet and relaxing. Great ambience, plenty of room for everyone. thanks.

House is very nice and open. Lots of little details here and there. The game room is a lot of fun.
Beds are comfy, couches are comfy, they have all the normal tv subscriptions.
Very close to everything.
A major plus for me was that the back yard is fully fenced in!

Beautifully equipped and maintained
This is an awesome home! Lots of space, games, jacuzzi, etc. etc. We were thoroughly impressed with how great this home was. All of our guests were equally impressed. Beds are super comfy, everything is updated and modern, beautifully designed home with lovely decorations. Will rent it again if staying in Big Bear! Thanks Bill & Kerry!

Thank you so much for staying with us! We are so glad you had a great time at our cabin. See you soon.
Thank you,

This home had everything we needed. Loved that we could spread out and not be on top of each other. The game room was amazing. The kitchen is old school but had all the gadgets. The beds were super comfortable. Being short I had a hard time climbing into the master bed. The backyard was wonderful and I look forward to coming back in the summer. Communication with the owner was spot-on. Thank you for our stay!

It has everything for an enjoyable vacation
They have equipped everything for everyone in your family and a large group. We were not so sure so we brought a lot of stuff they already have in the house. My two kids 14 and 8 years old can stay in the game room and the back yard playing whole day long without feeling bored. We were lucky to have a white Christmas with a lot t of snow. It was so nice to ski at Snow Summit the next day and had a hot tub after. We will rent it again and totally recommend this cabin for your vacation.

I am so glad you enjoyed your time at our cabin. Hope you can come back soon and see the remodel we did to the game room and bed rooms during the off season. Also we resurfaced the deck for the summer evenings.
Thank you for staying with us!
Sincerely,
Bill and Kerry
This place was perfect in every way. It is big - lots of space. We used the game room and hot tub every night. The bedrooms and bathrooms were remodeled with a cabin decor and it was luxurious - so much attention to detail. Another plus was the furniture in the living and family rooms - so comfy. It was cozy just sinking in and relaxing. It was our first trip to Big Bear Lake and we hiked and did some skiing. We are now thinking a summer trip might be good. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I definitely recommend it
I recently was in charge of planning a skiing trip for about 10 friends and myself. I looked on line for a long time before I landed on this one. It turned out to be a perfect fit. It had plenty of space and beds. And it was only a couple miles from either ski resort. The pool table, flat screen TV’s and the Jacuzzi didn't hurt either. I was a big hit with the rest of my group. Also, Kerry was very personable and helpful. I definitely recommend it to all different groups.

Couldn’t use hot tub
This was my second time renting this property because the first time it was so great. The house itself is nice, spacious, has a fenced yard, and good location.
However, this time the hot tub was VERY dirty and there were beer cans around the yard when we arrived.
We are not people to usually leave a review so we contacted the owner to let them know directly(with photos) and they never got back to us.

Great Location, Love the Cabin!
The house is located just around the corner from a swim beach and park. It is great for the entire family. I especially liked sitting outside on the patio and having dinner while watching the stars. It is very clean, lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful trees. It is very quiet and relaxing. There is a game room for all to enjoy including a little radio you can play a CD in. Lots of movies, Wii, and a pool table. The hot tub was perfect for early morning dips and watching the stars at night. Most importantly the beds were comfortable and the couch was great for relaxing and chatting with your family. When we called with questions regarding the place, the owner got right back to us quickly. we are planning on returning next year. My wife and I talked about possibly making this a tradition for years to come. It is a must do.

A great house for 1-2 families!
Our family of 4 stayed at this home for two nights. We would definitely stay here again. The neighborhood, Eagle Point, is one of the nicest we've stayed in - the lake is nearby and it's a great place to go on walks, plus The Village, Snow Summit, and the grocery stores (Vons and Stater Brothers) are a short 5 minute drive away. Two families could easily stay in this house - the room with bunks could sleep 5 kids and there's still two more rooms for the parents to enjoy. The master bed, which is the one I used, was very comfortable. We loved the game room with air hockey, pool table, and foosball - we spent hours in this room with our teenage kids. The livingroom had a large, comfy sectional couch with plenty of seating for everyone. Plus with both a family room and den, there's plenty of space. The master bedroom and bathroom are very large - huge shower, too! The fenced in yard is perfect for families with pets! Check-in process was super easy since we didn't have to go to a rental office - just enter the code on the front door and you're in. No hassle. I didn't give it 4-stars only because it could use a little TLC - you can tell it's a popular rental, as the carpet is a bit worn, the kitchen is a bit dated, and the kitchen items are well-used - but that didn't affect our stay and we loved that they allowed pets.

I am so glad you enjoyed the time you spent at our cabin in Big Bear. I believe you will enjoy the improvements we have added since your stay. We remodel the bedrooms (yes they needed TLC) and the game room. We also resurfaced the deck and are always trying to improve the cabin for future stays. I will go through the kitchen and replace any of the “well-used items” and make sure the kitchen has updated supplies. We are always improving our cabin and hope that each time you stay you will see the difference. Thank you again for staying at our cabin away for home!

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Filthy, Not as Advertised, Neglected House...
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL NIGHTMARE. The rental personnel arrived 20 minutes late (after scheduled 4p check in time). The entire house was absolutely filthy, carpets had food crumbs, table tops/ counters were dirty with food & drink spills. The powder bathroom toilet was flooded upon arrival. I spent 2.5 hrs cleaning the house before my family was able to enter. The "game room" equipment was a huge disaster all items are non-functional. Not a single item was in working condition: missing pucks, missing balls, giant holes in air hockey and pool table, broken pool sticks. Not to mention popped balloons and confetti throughout the interior and exterior of house. The toy closet was disgusting, it had used Q-tip swabs, broken wood trim with sharp rusted tacks and a used metal nail file. They had a sign: MUST FOLLOW THE RULES "ONLY PLAY WITH ONE ITEM/ GAME AT A TIME", "NO PARTIES". Yet the house was littered with party trash. The entire house had a two page "DO NOT DO THIS- NOT ALLOWED" signs posted everywhere and had cameras on the property, so there was no privacy. They could watch you and your family throughout your stay. I emailed the property owners right away with pictures about the poor conditions and they simply stated "sorry, we are on vacation, sorry your unsatisfied". Since this is a non-refundable rental we had no choice but to stay. I then emailed a second time upon check out, with pictures of how clean and tidy we left the property asking for a refund of the cleaning fee, since the house was unacceptably filthy upon our arrival. They make you strip all the bedding/ bath linens and wash them or they charge you. It was quite obvious there is no cleaning services, they have the renters do it and pay for it. We finally got a reply "we are away on a business trip, and will get back to you later in the week". We yet to hear back... If I could post the pictures of what the house really looks like, I would. These are careless owners out to make a buck, stay away from this property.

This review is Fraud! This person tried to extort us for a good review. Please read the other reviews and you will see that we maintain an excellent Vacation rental. The day she left she stated "thank you, we had a great time".
If you ever have a problem with this home, we make sure it is corrected as quickly as possible. All signs at the home are there either for your safety or there because the city of Big Bear Lake require them on all Vacation Rentals. As for the camera’s located at the front door, these are there for your safety. We also use the front cameras to know when the home needs to be plowed or maintained. Most homes now use Ring doorbells to make check-in and other services easier. We never use the camera to spy (not sure what they were doing in the front that they were so concern about the camera). We do not advertise falsely and never would. We also never have you strip the beds/bath linens and clean them (she never read the final instructions). Please do not let this review sway you from Coming to Big Bear Lake and staying at our Home away from Home. Call us if you have any questions any time.
I’ll start by saying the last review is completely inaccurate! This is a beautiful home and Bill is great to work with.
We’ve rented homes all over Big Bear and this was by far our favorite neighborhood. It’s absolutely gorgeous and the lake (plus a dog park, baseball field, and playground) is just a short walk away.
The game room was a hit with our two sons and we all loved the jacuzzi. The fully fenced in backyard was great for our dog who loved lounging in the sun, running around and chasing the squirrels.
The master bedroom and bathroom were nicely updated and all of the bedrooms were well appointed and had comfortable beds.
The kitchen contains everything you could possibly need and everything was in working order.
The large dining table is perfect for big families or groups and there is plenty of seating between the two living rooms.
For full disclosure’s sake, there seemed to be a sewage issue which caused the restroom on the bottom floor to stop working partway through our trip but the owner was very apologetic and communicative, and I'm sure it's been resolved.
All in all, this was a great home and we would absolutely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Big Bear, and having a home a way from home was great! This home has lot’s of things to enjoy: pool table, foosball, air hockey (though the top was a little cracked and the air didn’t work great, but we still had fun with it), jacuzzi (clean and comfortable), comfortable furniture in the living areas, large screen TV’s with Netflix, Hulu, etc for movies and shows. The landlord was great at responding to my questions, and seemed very nice. The only reasons I don’t give it 5 stars is: we found some of the beds to be very hard (the master king was comfy, but the beds in the other rooms were too hard, maybe mattress toppers would help), the rock flooring in the bathrooms was very painful to walk on without shoes (looked nice though), and we had to take our own trash to the trash center (with a full car at check out, it was a tight squeeze to fit the bag of trash & recycling too).

Thank you fo0r staying at our home away from home. The bathrooms were redone just a couple of years ago and we went with a spa look and feel. We have rugs there for your feet but I enjoy the feel but I guess not for everyone. The air hockey is not in the listing because we are caught in the supply chain issue and the table top is back ordered. So we took it out of the listing but left it as a bonus. The City of Big Bear Lake requires that short term renters take there trash with them (not our rule). since the trast site is less than a half mile you may want to drop trash before you load the car. That is what we do. Also you can prepay the cleaning company $15 per bag and they can take it. Sorry about the trash but the city requires it. I am so glad you had a good time and hope you can make it back soon.
This place is absolutely beautiful! The advertised pictures don’t show the beauty of this place. My family enjoyed every room including the game room. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. There are plenty of blankets, towels, and we surprisingly found ski boards in the entry closet. The host responded promptly to questions. The home is located close to the lake and village. We also loved that the place is gated and dog friendly. I definitely recommend this place to families looking to enjoy family time in the mountains!
Pro’s: There’s definitely tons of space in the house with 2 separate TV rooms and a spacious fenced in backyard, which was great for our dog. There’s also a hot tub which was very hot and clean. The game room was a hit with our kids and there’s a closet in the den area with tons of books and small toys. The bed sheets were clean and the bathrooms were also clean, fully stocked and updated. The house was very well stocked with towels, blankets, pillows, kitchen appliances so didn’t have to worry about bringing anything in.
Cons: The kitchen and carpets need some SERIOUS TLC. There’s no microwave in the kitchen (which we use a lot) and the oven had not been cleaned with TONS of food/crumbs along the bottom. The cabinets are extremely outdated and the counter tops had dirt imbedded in the grout as they were also quite old. The brown shaggy carpet hasn’t been replaced in years as it’s tearing around the edges and gives off a “dirty” feeling. These types of things may not bother many people, but it’s something we immediately noticed.
Overall, the stay was comfortable with a great location.

Thank you for staying at our cabin. We are so sorry that you did not look in the cabinet where the microwave is located above the oven. I will definitely speak with the cleaning company about oven. that should have been cleaned for your stay. The carpet is being repaired next week it was damage by a past tenant and our contractor is ready. As for the kitchen we have never oversold it in any of the pictures but we are planning on redoing it as soon as the funds are available. Our budget has gone for completely redoing the Game room and all of the bathrooms. we also redid all of the bedrooms so next on our budget will be the kitchen. Please if anyone has any issues with cleaning please let me know while you are there so it can be corrected. we are always trying to make everyone's stay as nice as possible.
Thank you so much for staying,
Bill
