About this property

Black Butte Ranch is a sprawling family friendly community nestled amongst Ponderosa pines with spectacular views of Central Oregon’s Cascade Mountain Range. Black Butte provides a world of amenities on the ranch including indoor, outdoor pools hot tubs, steam room, workout facilities, hiking trails, miles of biking paths, tennis courts and a gorgeous lodge style clubhouse with wireless internet access. The resort is also home to two pristine 18 hole golf courses, horseback stables, lakes for fly fishing, kayaking, standup paddle boarding and canoeing. Nearby visitors also appreciate skiing at both Hoodoo and Mount Bachelor. The neighboring town of Sisters offers quaint shopping and dining as well as many special events throughout the year. There are endless hiking and outdoor adventure opportunities in the surrounding area as well.

Our spacious ranch home located on the 13th hole of Big Meadow Golf Course is half way between the newly remodeled main lodge and the Glaze Meadow pool/activity center. Recently remodeled upper level; dining room, living area, kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom! It is a two minute walk to the private Paulina pool, tennis courts and Paulina Springs. Winter vacationers will love the popular sledding hill just one hole away. Our home provides a getaway for one family or two to take in all the magic that Black Butte has to offer.

Lower level living area nook provides seating and 50 inch TV with WiFi and Cable and game cabinet.
Other: All linens, laundry room with washer and dryer, extra refrigerator/freezer in garage, air conditioning.

At check in, please note the resort will collect an $9 daily fee every guest 7 years and older for access to all the BBR has to offer.

Wonderful family time

This was the third time our family of 10 has stayed in this beautiful home. The home was remodeled a year ago making it more open, light and spacious. The location on the golf course gave us easy access to sledding hills and walking paths. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back again.

Great house, annoying rules.

The house itself is pretty fantastic. The entire upstairs was renovated recently and has an absolutely beautiful and well-stocked kitchen. The downstairs feels dated and has a weird layout, best for kids or close friends. The hot tub was great, but was only heated to 90° when we arrived which meant we missed a full night because it took so long to warm up. It wasn’t super clear from our communication that we had to go in a specific entrance and get a code for a gate. We also had to pay an extra hundred dollars for activity fees, but you have to pay to do the activities the owners were nice enough to give us a late check out, which frankly is necessary because they expect you to do all of your laundry, so unless you want to wake up early on your last morning and not use the hot tub, you need to start laundry the night before. You also have to drive your trash 15 minutes away from the exit before you leave. Overall, it was a good stay, Just be prepared for a series of minor frustrations.

Wonderful Home!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home! The kitchen is very well equipped and the great room perfect for family time - lovely view of golf course, private setting, cozy fireplace. It was the prefect home-base for enjoying the Sisters Folk Festival.

The house was Amazing the view was spectacular and the host was very welcoming helpful and gracious

It was my husband’s Birthday weekend we got more than what we expected he said it was the best birthday EVER all because the house was so comfortable like home and the view was Amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a better host we would definitely stay there AGAIN!!! And we don’t say that about s lot of the other places we’ve stayed at in the past 5 stars and BEYOND

Wonderful stay

We have been coming to black butte for a very long time and this house is one of our favorites to rent. It is updated, great set up, comfortable beds and deck is amazing. We will be back!
