Favorite Vacation Spot to Date!

We absolutely loved our condo and the Portofino property! The condo was perfect for our family, beautifully decorated, and had a beautiful balcony and view! Our kids enjoyed the adventure cove, hubby loved the jet skis, we all loved the dolphin cruise and we all enjoyed plenty of poll relaxation! It may have been our first visit, but definitely wont be our last!

I enjoyed the amenities (exercise facilities, indoor pool, etc). I thought the beach umbrella and chair rental was pricey compared to other resorts on the beach.

A week in paradise

The property was clean and is in a beautiful location on the resort property. Tower 5 is the best location! Chuck was super responsive and even came out to the property to fix an issue within a few hours after notice! A great spot for a week away.

Condo was great as advertised. Portofino was an excellent resort. March April can be chilly and weather always unpredictable. Had some rain and windy days but overall mid- 70s . Surprisingly Portofino pools were cold IMO . Staff told me they kept them at 78 degrees which is too cold IMO.especially for this time of year. condo was great, having a balcony grill is now a must for our travel needs. Kids had a great time. Pensacola beach is family oriented with some cool restaurants and great beaches.

Best Condo In The Resort

Chuck hosts an excellent condos in The Portofino Resort. Breathtaking views of Pensacola Beach from this 10th floor condo. Inside was immaculate with upgraded furniture than what the pictures portrayed on the listing. Chuck is always easy going and excellent to work with. Definitely will stay here again next year!

Portofino Resort is Fantastic

This was our first time staying at the resort and we loved it! Charles was an excellent host. The condo was spacious comfortable. The restaurant food was delicious and very convenient, they even deliver! Each tower has their own pool and hot tub. Tower 5 is far away from the beach chairs if you purchase the upgrade so plan accordingly. We brought our own and that part of the beach wasn't crowded at all so it worked out great! We bought the Deluxe upgrade and won't do it next time, we didn't really use it like I thought we would. We booked a sunset dolphin cruise through Wave Cutter Dolphin Cruise- book them if you want a great time! It's right behind Shaggy's and Captain Charlie made it so much fun.

Great Condo

This is our second time staying in this unit. The owner is very is to communicate with and respond quickly to questions. My daughter forgot a stuffed animal and the owner of the unit helped locate it with the cleaning company and got the stuffed animal safely returned to us. The unit is very clean and has all the amenities needed for a week's stay. Plenty of cooking utensils as well. The view of the Gulf from the room is spectacular. This will be our first choice to stay next time we head to Pensacola Beach.

There were five adults in our family. Age ranged from 24 - 81. Our eldest sister uses a wheelchair. Accessibility was the primary issue. The facility was fully accessible except for the Registration Center. Rooms were clean, beds and linens were up to standard, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We fully enjoyed our stay and will recommend to our friends.

Great view but a little dated

The view was amazing. The location and resort was nice as well. The condo itself was not as nice as I had hoped. Furnishings were dated. King bed was very worn and soft. Door to the toilet room in the master would not close. Lock to the sliding glass door in the living room would not lock. This was concerning since we had young kids with us. The kitchenware was not nice at all. Some of the pans were dirty. The draws had not be cleaned out in a long time. There were no extra trash bags which ment I had to run to the store for trash bags the first day. It would have been nice to have a couple extra trash bags. There were no extra rolls of toilet paper. My biggest complaint is that the floors were dirty. We noticed on the first night that everyone's feet were black on the bottom. We figured out it was from the tile floors. Gross! We will not stay here again for that reason. I would definitely stay at Portoino again, just not in this unit.

Good stay

We booked a two bedroom unit in building number 5. The views are great and you pretty much can oversee the entire property from your balcony as well as the beach and the bay. It is a bit further from the lifestyle center for those who may have difficulty with walking. also those with small children where walking further may be a hassle. And we ate in both of the restaurants on site Fresco and Coastal. We had two meals in each of the restaurants one meal was OK. The other was acceptable but not great. It is very convenient to have food on the property. They also have a small market for last minute items are things you can pick up if needed. We used to the gym, a couple of times, which is well set up with lots of work out options. The beach access from building number five is close however, you to have to hop over a small fence - for those with wagons or buggies of items, just need to keep that in mind. we did not use the pool or hot tub. they both look very nice. The units themselves are pretty large - for those looking for a handicapped accessible space just be mindful that the guest bedroom and bath are very tight and not wheelchair accessible. While that was not an issue for my family I know for many it is something that needs to be considered. The check in process was very smooth and the staff was very accommodating to any questions. The parking is also convenient. We had a parking spot with our unit or there was an outdoor option.
