Spacious, bright and very accessible cottage, in the center of the Hesdin countryside, all trade village (bakeries 1 minute walk, supermarket open on Sunday morning, ...) Classified 3 ears GĂźtes de France, and 4 star in the national ranking, 10 minutes the walled city of Montreuil sur mer (elected second at the favorite village of the French 2016), 10 minutes from Hesdin, and 20 minutes from the beaches of Le Touquet / Berck, 30 minutes from the bay of sum, 45 minutes from the site of the two caps. Many activities around.

Das Ferienhaus, eine umgebaute Scheune, ist sehr groß und hat eine schöne Aufteilung und große Fenster. Die Inneneirichtung könnte gemĂŒtlicher und wohnlicher sein. Das Doppelbett im Hauptschlafzimmer ist mit 140 cm sehr eng, wenn man zu Hause an ein 180 cm breites Bett gewöhnt ist. In der KĂŒche ist so ziemlich alles da, was man zum Kochen braucht. Der Garten ist mit einer Mauer und einem Holzzaun komplett umzĂ€unt und war fĂŒr unsere beiden Hunde super zum Spielen und Toben. Die HĂŒhner und das kleine Ponny direkt nebenan, waren fĂŒr ein bißchen Salat und trockenes Brot oder eine Möhre immer zu haben, so sĂŒĂŸ...Das Parken war direkt am Haus möglich. Der BĂ€cker in 100 m Entfernung macht super Baguettes, ganz ganz lecker...Um ans Meer zu fahren, muss man schon 20 bis 25 Minuten einplanen. Die Besitzer des Ferienhauses sind freundlich und sehr zurĂŒckhaltend. Alles in allem hatten wir eine schöne Woche mit viel Sonnenschein. Die Unterkunft können wir empfehlen..

Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Das Haus ist perfekt eingerichtet und unsere Enkelkinder (22 Monate und 5 Jahre) hatten viel Spaß. Es gab viele Spiele und natĂŒrlich die HĂŒhner, das Pony und die Katzen.Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und haben uns mit Eiern, Marmelade und Zucchini verwöhnt.Wir wĂŒrden das Haus wieder buchen.

Die Beschreibung des Hauses ist super.Der Empfang durch den Vermieter war sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation kann auch in Englisch erfolgen.Alles ist zu Fuss sehr gut zu erreichen - BĂ€cker, Carrefour Compact, ...Wie in Frankreich ĂŒblich haben BĂ€cker und GeschĂ€fte auch Sonntags (Carrefour 09:00 - 13:00) geöffnet.Die Strecke zum Meer ist problemlos mit dem Auto zu bewĂ€ltigen.

Schöne Unterkunft mit Hund

Wir hatten eine schöne und entspannte Zeit ĂŒber Weihnachten und Silvester. Das Haus ist sauber und gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet. Die KĂŒche ist bestens ausgestattet und die Vermieter freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank fĂŒr die Bereitstellung des Raclettegrills!Ein BĂ€cker (sehr leckeres Baguette) und ein Supermarkt sind fußlĂ€ufig zu erreichen. Es gibt viele Wanderwege zu entdecken und der Weg ans Meer ist nicht weit.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent GĂźte in a good area.

The gĂźte was perfect for us with lots of room. What was particularly appreciated was that it was warm and cosy, despite the unexpectedly cold weather for late November. As another reviewer mentioned the wifi connection is 'dated' but for general email, Google searching, social media and news it's fine. The enclosed garden is perfect for an accompanying dog. Good restaurant and well stocked supermarket just 10 minutes walk away. Highly recommended.

Ein perfekter Urlaub

Wir hatten einen netten Empfang, bekamen alles erklĂ€rt und auch gute Ausflugstips. Wir fĂŒhlten uns von Anfang an sehr wohl. Das Haus ist sehr schön und der kleine Garten ein besonderes Highlight. Wir haben uns auch ĂŒber die glĂŒcklichen HĂŒhner und das hĂŒbsche Pony gefreut. Im Haus war alles sehr sauber und das GrundstĂŒck gepflegt. Die Gegend ist wunderschön und abwechslungsreich. Vielen Dank fĂŒr die netten Geschenke, die KonfitĂŒre, die Eier und die KĂŒrbisse. Wir möchten unbedingt wiederkommen.

Ideal location in small village, 30 minutes from le Touquet.

The gite was spacious and clean, the owner who lived next door spoke good English and was pleasant and helpful. The only downside was the lack of a smart TV and Dated wi-fi that dropped out. This led to limited evening entertainment. Otherwise great.

Het huisje is mooier, lichter en ruimer dan de foto's laten zien. Door het wisselvallig weer geen gebruik van de achtertuin gebruikt. Vooral genoten van de omgeving richting de kust. De bakker op de hoek, ca. 50m lopen, zorgde elke ochtend voor een typisch Franse start van de dag!

An excellent week’s break

This is a lovely place to relax with useful local (walkable) shops and well placed for trips out to the coast and villages. Immaculately presented, comfortably furnished, plenty of space and a very well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed plenty of eggs from the owner’s hens and some delicious home-made jam! Remember to book linens and towels if you need them and, despite the confusing information on VRBO, there is definitely free Wi-fi readily available. Highly recommended 🙂

Tolle vorösterliche Ferienwoche

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche. Sooo viel Platz im Haus, ein toller eingezĂ€unter Garten fĂŒr die beiden Hunde, leckere Eier (zum Empfang gab es welche geschenkt) von den HĂŒhnern, ein freundlicher Gastgeber. Das Baguette des BĂ€ckers um die Ecke ist der Wahnsinn, der kleine Supermarkt super sortiert. Wer gerne geocacht, findet in der Umgebung ein wahres Paradies. Die Seehunde in Berck waren mein absolutes Highlight, der ganzen Familie hat Amiens unheimlich gut gefallen. Eine tolle Ecke Frankreichs!
