Love the house and location. There are a few minor things that need to be fixed but that is just normal maintenance. Very convenient and gorgeous beach.

Happy with the house. Only disappointment would be that the photos of the property are not accurate as far as access to the beach. Because of the dunes right behind the house the beach access is 4/5 houses down. I rented this house thinking I would have direct access to the beach for my 80 year old parents to get down to see their grandkids. Was very disappointed when it was not as in the photos of the rental property. Please update photos so others don't make the same mistake.

Hi Kevin,
We're glad to hear that you liked the house, and are very sorry to hear that the beach access photos when you arrived did not match what showed when you booked the house. After Hurricane Isiais hit our shoreline hard in late 2020, a massive dune restoration process took place that was not completed across the whole island until after your stay. This project did change the beach access paths for many oceanfront homes. You may have experienced a temporary access point as this work was finished, since the property does still have direct beach access at this time. It sounds like the work crews had not yet finished cutting access paths through the dunes during your stay. While our staff worked diligently to update all photos as quickly as possible, there were some delays as we worked through this process, but all photos currently shown for beach access are accurate. We do apologize for the inconvenience and hope you return again!
The property was dirty at check in. The dishes that were provided were dirty and inadequate. Location was ok. Parking pictures are not accurate. Wood rot on the deck and doors. Loose spindles in the deck. Moisture in between the windows. Smell of gas throughout the house.
Second time we’ve stayed at this property. Wonderful because we all had Oceanside bedrooms! The only unfortunate thing was we were unaware of the dune wall built all along the beach. It definitely took away from our experience but we understand it has to be. It is 2020 after all! We were so happy to be able to make the trip happen.
Wonderful week in OI! Beautiful weather and nice property. Few minor inconveniences but overall good! I mentioned a few things in my other survey, but forgot that the one towel bar in the downstairs bathroom fell off the wall when I hung my towels on it!
