Great house on the Patuxent river with new kitchen, paint, outdoor deck and 2 full bathrooms. Access to kayaks and paddleboards if needed. House also has its own beach (see photos) and has a convenience store for all sundries only 2 miles away. A great year round house with unique views and experiences throughout the entire year. Also a great place to view all of the wildlife that the Patuxent River has to offer.

Lovely Views!

Per’s house is lovely! It had everything we needed for a long summer weekend (pots, pans, beach towels, beach toys, beach bags, etc.) The decor was charming and offered the perfect backdrop to our stay. We also loved the proximity to lots of things - Calvert Marine Museum, Jefferson Patterson Park, Flag Ponds, Calvert Cliffs.

Quiet, peaceful, relaxing.. the perfect getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was a great location for access to local parks, beaches, and attractions. We most enjoyed the views from the house, both inside and on the upper and lower outdoor patios. House was clean and well represented in the listing.

Epic Beach Getaway

We were looking for a quiet cozy place to stay for a Thanksgiving weekend hosted by a family member across town. Boy, did we find it! Our host was super easy to work with.

Weekend getaway

Despite the wet weather, we had a great time celebrating our anniversary. The indoor fireplace was so cozy and we were able to have a great “beach” day with some fishing! The place was a good proximity to downtown Solomon’s Island and plenty of markets & restaurants!

Weekend Gem

We enjoyed the comfy atmosphere and location to the water. There is nothing better than a fireplace fire, family, board games and great good to relax. Communication was easy with the owner and he was able to resolve a few issues we had. Such a nice weekend away.

Summer getaway

This property is wonderful. My family and I enjoyed the everything inside and out. Made sandcastles and rowed in the kayak. We were able to make short trips to Solomons for the Calvert Marine Museum on a rainy day and ice cream on a sunny one. Great stay.

Home and amenities are exactly as described and pictured, but the actual views are even better. Per was a super responsive host on questions. Great place to enjoy all the Patuxent River has to offer!

Coco's vacation

The property is pet-friendly (Coco) that's what caught my eyes. Also, the location of the house, is on a riverfront. I loved the layout of the house. Beautiful. To wakeup in the morning, having coffee on the porch, to appreciate the beauty of the scenic views and watching the birds.

Best little getaway!

We had a wonderful 4 days at this beautiful property. It was comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated and well stocked with anything you could possibly need. Beds are very comfortable. The grounds are very pretty. The icing on the cake is the private beach. We couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable visit. Thank you!

Family Time at the Beach

We stayed for 6 days as a family (my wife and I and our 2 adult kids). The home was very well kept, very clean, and had items for us to use down at the waterfront. We had a great time, the neighbors were extremely nice and the area is 100% authentic Eastern Shore living. Thank you for a wonderful start to our Summer!

We loved this little house on the water . The house is spacious with a stocked kitchen .

The house is so spacious and we loved all the amenities, like the kayak , paddle board and the deck with the water view . Highly recommend this property for a peaceful weekend of fun in the sun or just a short drive to Solomons Island .

Beautiful home & spectacular view with beach!

House was very comfortable, updated, and clean. Owner was always available for questions and was very helpful. We really enjoyed the beautiful views from the deck and sandy beach overlooking the Patuxent River.

Paradise truly found

This home is simply beautiful, and was just what I was looking for. I was searching for a place that would have amazing views, was in a peaceful location, where I would be able to recover from a major surgery. This home simply did not disappoint. The owner was amazing to deal with, very helpful and thoughtful also. Definitely a five star experience!

We are coming back

The house is clean, nicely decorated. The kitchen has a big pantry and fully stocked. It has more than enough room for seven of us. The view of the river is unbeatable. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and SUP board very much, and we found the outdoor shower is the best feature after a day in the water and sand. We are coming back again for sure.

Grandchildren getaway

We took our 2 granddaughters to this property for a school break vacation and we all loved it! The house is even nicer than the photos show and it was so peaceful we never left until checkout day. I would note that the grocery and one of the pizza places closed at 8 on a Sat. so be mindful if you are a late dinner eater. We are already thinking of staying again next year!
