Ruhig und alles da

Wer es ruhig und abgelegen vom Touristentrubel mag, findet hier alles was man braucht. Die Ortschaft ist klein und viele Häuser sind verlassen. Es dürfte aber ein Revitalisierungstrend existieren und bei unserem Besuch zu Ostern kamen viele kretische Familien hier zusammen um zu grillen und zu feiern. Die Lage lädt zu schönen Wanderungen in der landschaftlich herrlichen Gegend ein, die auch eine lange Geschichte beherbergt. Für die wichtigen Einkäufe ist es nötig in die am Fuß des Berges liegenden Supermärkte zu fahren. Wir haben den Supermarkt in Gra Ligia gut gefunden. Tavernen im Dorf und in den Nachbardörfern gibt es zwar, die waren aber in der Vorsaison eher unbesucht. Hier empfehlen wir nach Myrtos zu fahren, das charmante Lokale und einen Strand bietet. Das Smaragda Haus ist idyllisch und traditionell. Die Räume sind gut ausgestattet mit allen Notwendigkeiten. Das Doppelbett war hervorragend bequem. Für die frischen Nächte im Frühjahr gibt es eine Klimanlage mit Heizung, im Sommer wird das wohl eher zur Kühlung gebraucht. Die Terrasse am Dach bietet herrlichen Ausblick aufs Meer und die Insel Chrissi. Der zweite Liegestuhl war leider kaputt, es war nur einer verwendbar. Das sollte leicht zu beheben sein. Gefreut haben wir uns über die lokalen Streunerkatzen, die uns regelmäßig besuchten und die wir ordentlich aufgepäppelt haben. Leider sind viele von ihnen verletzt durch Revierkämpfe. Insgesamt ein Urlaub abseits des ausgetretenen Tourismuspfades.

Ruhiges Bergdorf ohne Versorgung

Das Haus ist gemütlich und gut eingerichtet. Ein bisschen bessere Beleuchtung wäre schön. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett aber es war etwas chaotisch, da die vereinbarte Uhrzeit der Übergabe nicht eingehalten wurde von der Hausmeisterin. Außerdem gibt es keinen Handyempfang sondern nur Wlan. In 4 Tagen gab es zwei mal im ganzen Dorf Stromausfall, das heißt gar keine Kommunikation möglich. Anatoli liegt auf 600 Meter, das heißt es ist immer ca. 5 Grad kühler als an der Küste. Das sollte man bedenken. Ansonsten gibt es im Dorf nur eine kleine Taverne. Einkaufen am besten an der Küste.
