Because of VRBO website design my ranking on cancellations is wrong. I want to assure my customers that I have nothing but the best intentions for them:) I am also willing to work with all my customers on dates for their stay:) Thank You:) Very clean, private cabin on large wooded lot in Northern Wisconsin on a quiet lake . Living room has built in wood burning fireplace with great view (upstairs). This cabin is available year round with plenty of great fishing experiences. The kids can explore the large wooded lot.
Three bedrooms have queen beds and the children's room, has two sets of bunk beds, single bed on top and double bed on the bottom. Two bed rooms upstairs (queen beds) two bed rooms down stairs (queen/bunkbeds). Family room with a bar, mini fridge and all glasses. Family room has a walk out basement door to the patio. Backyard has a fire pit and there is also a fire pit near the lake. (Wood is provided for the fire pits and the fireplace).
The cabin is located on Little Dummy Lake, (real name), a quiet no-wake lake(quiet at 10 pm) and is connected by a channel to Big Dummy Lake(wake lake), which is a larger Lake less than 4 miles from Cumberland (the Island City). Rice Lake is 15 miles away and features Super Wal-mart, cinema 7 and many restaurants.
Cumberland has antique stores, bars and grills, restaurants. There is a large public beach and hours of boating around the Island city. Near by Barronett has a organic store, called the 20 mile. If you like biking its a beautiful ride to Barronett (blacktop back roads). The 20 mile store features produce, prepared foods, wine & cheese, plus their own forzen custard. They also feature gifts and crafts. Barronett has a cafe, bar & grill and restaurant.
A little farther North is Shell Lake, A popular spot is the Pottery Barn, where you can buy and paint your own pottery, then it is glazed and fired. While you're there, you can shop and have lunch. Friday nights they feature musicans from the area.
Check in, is Friday at 4:00pm and check out is Friday at 11:00am. I only rent weekly during June, July and August. You can stay for a shorter time but it will be the full weeks price.

About the host
Hosted by Tracy Thompson

I am not a large multi cabin chain. I own one cabin and take extreme pride in it. I have owned my cabin since 2006 and try to improve it every year. I have two sons that pretty much grew up there, helping me work on it and clean it. Please if stay there take care of it as your own. When the cabin left a mess I take it personal. I try to do my best to get it ready and have it as perfect as I can get it. I clean it myself and have a little smile every time I leave for new renters to come in and enjoy. It is sad when I come to clean it and you can tell there was no respect for my cabin or rules. So please if you are considering my cabin, remember that I am a small business owner and would like you to take care of it as it was your own. Thank You Tracy Thompson
