The views were amazing from every level and the whole scenery was nothing short of spectacular. This camp was not only wonderful for me to rest, study, and soak in the lake and woods, but it also had all the gear for serious kayaking adventures if I wanted to.The stay was deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. Very peaceful too…the kind of peace that lingers long after leaving.I would definitely stay again.Thank you Shawn for providing this amazing lake house.
Angelic and private cottage / camp. Great views of the lake. Perfect for my wife and i . Home was clean and close to restaurants/ activities. Abundance of wild life and was a relaxing stay. The only drawback is the home sits at bottom of hill on the lake resulting in a lot of stairs to traverse to get to the home . Otherwise perfect for what were looking for .
This is our second time staying at the property and it was just as wonderful as the first. Close to everything you might want to do for hiking and excursions but once you're sitting on the deck at the lake you really feel like you've "gotten away". Appreciate the full kitchen and towels and linens for the house. Hope to be able to return again in the future.

Erika, thank you so much for coming back to stay with us again! I’m so happy to hear your second visit was just as wonderful as the first. It means a lot that you enjoy both the adventures nearby and the peace of the lake. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!
Shawn made check in/ check out super easy for us. We appreciated that water and cleaning supplies were provided. It was also lovely to have a window unit in the bedroom and living room. The views are absolutely breath taking sun up to sundown. It was the perfect little get away.
Place could use some TLC but enjoyed the lake a lot. Fishing equipment would have been a nice extra, kayaks, canoe and paddle boards were lots of fun. thank you very much!
Such a wonderful location! We were blessed with beautiful weather. We love the access to paddle boards and kayaks! Lots of stairs but made the drinks on the deck with the view of the lake so worth it!
This property has everything you need for a great stay on the lake. The views are breathtaking. Although it is a “cabin” it has the feel of a home. There are a lot of stairs but, it is well worth the effort. We had a great time!
We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and inviting. The steps and canoe gave us a full body workout. We even tackled a crossword puzzle on the only rainy dad we had.
Oh so quiet and pretty. Seeing the fall colors and hearing loons in the morning as we sipped our coffee on the deck seeing the calm water with a light fog was so relaxing. Sunsets beautiful and far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for day trips.
The view out over the lake was extremely nice and the hurricane (that past by) only real effect was two very spectacular sunsets!! Must be great during Fall foliage.
Perfect spot for a getaway. Close to grocery store and seafood market. Plenty of room for vehicle and trailer. Private for a lake house. Not for anyone who has trouble with stairs but they were well lit. Would definitely stay again.
This is the lakeside camp retreat you are looking for! Campfires, kayaks, dock to jump off, plentiful outdoor deck space - welcome to lake life! In addition, while the property is private, it’s a ten minute drive to Hannafords and slightly longer to the Goodlife market. All amenities are within a short distance. Highly recommend and working with Shawn was very easy.
Lovely home on the lake. Enjoyed listening to the loons and the daily fly-by of the Eagle. Had a great time swimming and canoeing. Wish we had brought our fishing poles. Was quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed easy day trips to Douglas Hill for hiking, Maine Wildlife Park, and Portland Art Museum. Enjoyed meals at Yolked, Bob's Seafood, and Rose's.

Thank you for the great review. I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay! Hope to have you back! Shawn
We did enjoy the life on the lake for the week we were there. You really didn't have to go elsewhere because the water sports and swimming were right on the premises, including fishing on the dock. It was secluded also, which was great. Restaurants and shopping were close by the area.
The only issue was the hike up and down the outside stairs and the spiral stairs to each floor, but other than that it was relaxing.
Cannot beat the view and access to the lake! We spent most of our time kayaking and on the deck. The pictures of the stairs are accurate but we did not find it impactful to our stay. Kitchen was new and clean. Easy communication! We would return!
M My wife and I are both seniors so this review be read with that in mind. The scenery and lake views were spectacula Lots to don the water from the house dock area. The comfort of the furniture was ok at best. The interior spiral staircases were a challenge. That being said, the house is well equipped and for
