Home is ideally located only 32 miles from downtown Boston, one hour to ocean beaches and 90 minutes to the heart of the White Mountains. Excellent for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. No motors allowed on the pond makes this an ideal quiet, summer getaway.

The home features a master bedroom with a king sized bed and a large loft with full and twin beds. A/C, TV, cable, internet and WiFi included. Outside deck features small table for quiet lunch for 2 or 4, and a large picnic table that seats 10, perfect for outdoor grilling.

Adjacent to 55 acres of conservation land, wonderful walking trails are right outside your door.

Rock Pond

Hosts were readily available and very kind. The pond is delightful to look at and paddle on and warm enough for a swim. The house is very clean and well maintained and well stocked.

Quiet paradise in the trees

We had such a great time on our vacation. Sitting in the livingroom you feel like you are in a tree house as you gaze uopn the water. The pond is SUPER quiet because there is not any public access and no motorized equipment. The only people on it are coming from one of the surrounding houses. We kayaked everyday and my youngest son enjoyed the paddle board. Both of my boys enjoyed swimming to the dock and I enjoyed how close everything was. My husband caught so many fish that we could not believe it (3-4 cat fish each night easy). Rainy day? No problem, the walkout basement has a full sized bathroom, ping pong and an overhead projector connected to a Playstation. The main level has a table that is long enough for a 1,000 piece puzzle. We stayed for 2 weeks and really enjoyed the property and surrounding town, including Canobie Lake Park. We even went to Hampton beach which is about an hour away. I have already recommended this property to friends and we plan to return.

Great host and cottage

A well maintained cottage on a peaceful pond. Host met us personally to show us around when we checked in. My daughter took on pan cake making because of the nice welcome New England maple syrup. We did some kayaking, fishing and swimming. A very comfortable stay close to Boston.
