About this property

The house has 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The bedrooms are 3 with king beds, 1 with 2 full beds, and 1 with bunk beds.

New shuffleboard and game console in sunroom with 60 games including Galaga, Packman, Donkey Kong and others of your classic favorites.

There is private pool treated weekly and before new guests. Pool is only open 5/1/21 through 9/30/21. There is a dock and swimming platform. Rear yard faces west for great sunset views with lawn furniture, table, hammock. The kitchen has pots, pans, dinnerware, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, blender, etc. The house has cable TV and free wifi/internet.

There are 3 kayaks and a 2-person canoe (Keowee) available with paddles and life vests. There is also a public boat launch and walking track 3 miles away so you can launch boats or jet skis. From the dock you can fish, crab, and watch the dolphins.

There are nearby golf courses at The Point, Carolina Club and Kilmarlic. Also, the H2OBX Waterpark is just minutes away.

Short 5-10 minute ride across bridge to ocean, shopping, and restaurants. Taxi and UBER available.

Great location

We spent so much time out on the dock either fishing, watching fish and crabs, watching the stars/satellites, or just relaxing. We also loved the pool, hammock, games, birds, butterflies, sunsets.... etc. This was our first visit to NC and I'm really happy we chose this house/location. It was incredible to be right on the water! And although neighbors also had docks, we (almost) never saw anyone else the entire time we were there. Very private but also easy access to the more peopley areas.

Great Experience!!

The home was great and met everyone’s needs. There was ample opportunities for fun in the sun, with fishing from the dock, kayaking, and swimming in the pool. Inside offered television for relaxation, shuffle board and the arcade game that offered 42 different games, though two of us adults found ourselves ending each night by competing against each other playing pin ball. We definitely enjoyed our time here as a family and hope to do it again sometime soon.

Great vacation home

We loved the sound right out the back door, the pool was refreshing and the beach was a quick drive away! One of the best places I've stayed! A little something for everyone!

Perfect OBX Vacation!!

Our family had an AMAZING time at this property!! This was an extended family vacation and there was something for everyone! We thought the majority of our time would be spent in and around the pool, but we spent every morning, afternoon, and evening on the dock. We fished day and night and caught several spotted sea trout. We also caught several crabs and were able to have a crab boil and fish tacos on our last night. The sound was perfect for fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The sunset view was breathtaking! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The game room and shuffleboard were a huge hit, and we put the puzzles and games to good use on our rainy day. We highly recommend this home!! It was conveniently located near everything we wanted to do. We took day trips to Corolla to see the wild horses, spent hours on the beach at Pea Island, chartered a fishing boat in Wanchese, and took the kids to play mini golf and ride go karts in Kitty Hawk. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive! We wish we could have extended our stay and plan to return in the future.

John and Cathy are long-time OBX visitors . We are from Arlington, VA and have raised three great kids. We were searching for a place to retire in a few years and wanted water views and access. The opportunity to purchase this home came up and we could not refuse. Hope you can enjoy your visits here as much as we hope to in the future. We are new to VRBO so any feedback we receive would be greatly appreciated. Our goal is to make this house more of a home for family vacations.

Why they chose this property

The sunsets are spectacular! The house is one level and can accommodate extended families. Pool and sound activities are readily available so there are always choices. Activities as kayaking, crabbing, swimming, and fishing are right out the back door. Home includes kayaks, life vests, paddles, crab traps, some fishing poles for guests.

This is in a quiet neighborhood yet only minutes from OBX activities.

What makes this property unique

Private pool and dock. You can see dolphin swimming in the sound. Just five minutes from The Point Golf course for you golfers out there with restaurant and breakfasts. Kayaks, SUP provided along with all safety gear. Bring your own boat or jet skis and tie off to dock. One of the only locations in the area with sandy bottom sound access. Great for swimming and water sports. Watch the sunset from fire pit and or dock seating. Catch fish and crabs.
