Great location

The location of this property was perfect. Right across from the beach and just a short drive from popular attractions. The property wasn’t the cleanest but we made the best of it! Very enjoyable trip.

Galveston vacation

Have stayed at Casa Del Mar multiple times on trips to Galveston but would book this one first in the future.The units are basically all the same but what I liked about it this time was the booking agency Vacasa.They randomly sent me a message telling me the room was ready around noon and didn’t have to wait until 4pm.Also for a small $20 fee I was able to check out at 2pm instead of 11am

You get what you pay for

Found this condo on vrbo for cheap.. Booked it for 2 nights and glad we didn't book for longer. It's an okay place, but the kitchen is really small and there is no dishwasher. The condo faces 61st and that road is very busy and traffic noise is loud at times. It's an older condo so there is some wear and tear around (i.e. the front door looked liked it had some rust on it; the light fixture in the bathroom had rust on it; the tub had spots where the enamel was gone). I would not stay at this place again.

Place was more dated than pics, springs were popping out of couch bed terrible sleep, broken oven and ac went out from 9 pm to 4am trying to get 3 kids asleep....terrible

Galveston stay

The property was good. Security guard duty all the time. The condo was ok. The oven door broken, no skillet or sharp knives, only 1 large glass, no potholders, and toilet only flushed half the time. The sliding glass door was hard to open and close. We had to rent a blow up mattress because the pull out sofa was uncomfortable. All in all it was ok. We didn’t spend a lot of time there so it served it’s purpose

Looks way better in the pictures. Dirty, toilet didn't work properly took 15 min. To fill back up. Painting was not complete large area missing paint. Smells like mildew, slider door glass is about to fall out.

Street traffic was very loud. Pool too crowded, loud and many children. Broken oven, towel racks. Minimal cooking utensils. Very bare bones and a little depressing.

needs repairs

This property needs repairs. The toilet paper holder had only one bracket, one of the towel bars in bathroom was missing, bathtub drain needs draino, the tub drains very slowly. Condo needs painting. In the kitchen the stove drip pans were very rusty. There was 2 pots to cook in no frying pan. The sliding door to the balcony was so hard to close it took my husband and I to pull it shut. The listing should state the bed in the bed room is only a double bed. If I known the bed was this small I would not have rented. Overall this rental was awful. Will not rent again.

Great beach location

This property provides the best location, across the street from the beach and restaurants. The place is very clean however, the bathtub drain is very sluggish and tub fills with water. Also, the queen bed frame is falling apart. It appears that a screw has fallen off. I would rent from them again if these issues get resolved.

Galveston Fishing

The condo was fine and what we needed. The amount of taxes and fees were astronomical - 134% of room cost. For that reason alone I will never use this site again.
